No results after 2nd dose of prep. Anyone else have this lack of response?

I have taken both doses of prepopik. First dose at 5pm, second at 11pm. Followed all instructions. Drank all water after each does. I have taken Lactulose for many years, the last year at a higher dose because the HE/ liver issues have worsened. NO fun, but doable. My insurance won't cover Xifaxin because lactulose exists. Pain management or lack there of

I was prescribed 60mg Morphine ER twice a day with 10mg norco up to 6 tablets a day for 2.5 years. I always took it as prescribed never asked for early prescriptions. A few months ago my rheumatologist sent me to a pain dr for management because he said I am too young (35) to be on this many narcotics. The new dr is super nice and you can tell he wants to medicate me to manage my pain but has changed my medication around all over the place to doses that are too low or medications that don't work or cause side effects. I was managed on the morphine and norco and told him I didn't need him to change anything but to just give me a new rx.
