I drank a protein shake for breakfast every morning that contained 5,083 mg of L-Glutamine during my first trimester. I was unaware of the harmful effects L-Glutamine supplements could have on the fetus. Do u think I hurt the baby in any way? I've heard that to much L-Glutamine in the form of supplements can cause retardation in the fetus. ## Hello, Heather! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! what does lentogesic contain? Please list ingredients in exact number of milligrams, thank you ## Are you referring to the tablet or the syrup? Assuming that you are referring to the tablet, Lentogesic contains the active ingredients Paracetamol + Dextropropoxyphene + Glutamine + Pemoline. Lentogesic Syrup contains Acetaminophen + Codeine Phosphate + Promethazine Hydrochloride Other than this information, I was unable to find precise dosing details, and I'm thinking that is because the manufacturer of Lentogesic in South Africa stopped producing drugs that contain Dextropropoxyphene (drug information was likely taken down because of this): You may want to consider contacting the manufacturer directly in order to get a more precise answer on this drug's dosing information: NOTE: ...
