ointment ## Rx'ed Ketoconazole ointmens 2x/day due to round quarter sized rings at the upper side of each armpit. After 2 days of use, the areas of treatment became very red and irritated..... almost to burning. Can Ketoconazole be taken with antibiotics that I am taking to treat my UTI? ## Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication, I cannot tell you about any possible interactions, however, without knowing the name of the antibiotic in question. If they are both prescribed for you, your pharmacist should automatically check for any possible interactions when filling the prescriptions. i want to know what conaz is working for ## i was given conaz to take while i was ill on holiday in egypt and i just want to know what is in them and what they are for ## Conaz contains the active ingredient Ketoconazole, this is an antifungal medication. It is not available in the US, except as used in some antidandruff shampoos. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness and vomiting. I'm 34 year old male suffering for hairloss & thinning. Want to start treatment with I've planned to start some non "DHTInhibitor" treatment for my Norwood 4/5 & thinning hairs with Minoxidil 5% (topical solution) & Ketoconazole-2 % based shampoo but got too confused on vitamins and supplements.
