Has anbody taken LORI-2 GENERIC for ativan made in India? ## Hi Lulu, It appears that someone on the site has already posted a reply to this thread- I'll link the thread below. I haven't personally used this medication so I can't really provide an honest opinion on it. I do know that when you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. That may be something to keep in mind. Also, I'm not sure if you're aware, but generics are permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. Discuss/Lori-2-Lorazepam-246932.htm I hope this info helps! ## There is a frequent misinterpretation of the bioequivalence of generic drugs. The assertion ...

medication for bowel/colon problems ## Hello, Are you referring to Lorabid perhaps? If so, Lorabid is an antibiotic used to treat all different kinds of infections. I've read that because antibiotics kill all the good bacteria in the body (including the colon) it can actually cause colon and bowel problems such as constipation. When taking an antibiotic it's important to speak with your doctor about using a probiotic to reinstate good bacteria into your body- to avoid bowel problems as well as an overproduction of yeast which leads to yeast infections and other similar issues. I hope this info helps!

all i want to no is what does this med have in it i broke my wrist and now i am trying to wing myself off and it is making me sick please let me know thank you annette riggs ## I don't know what dosage you are on, there are several available, but all Lortab and generic equivelents contain Acetaminophen and the narcotic pain reliever Hydrocodone. So that would explain why you have problems stopping it, Hydrocodone, like any narcotic, is very addictive. I would advise speaking to your doctor, they should be able to help you with ways to wean off and alleviate the dependence symptoms that you are experiencing.
