what is the recommended dosage for an adult ## Hello, David! How are you? This is an Imodium Advanced tablet (NDC 50580-338) and you should follow the instructions on the packaging. They state to take 2 after the initial bout of diarrhea, then one to be taken if you have another bout of diarrhea. Are you on any other medications? This may interact with some of them.

(NDC 50580-338) So, it isn't a narcotic or prescription medication of any type, this is available over the counter. However, it should still be used according to the directions, because there are always possible risks and side effects with any medication, even over the counter products. ## Someone switched my percocet for IMO 2 125. Would like to know what it is.

I have a white oval-shaped tablet. One side has an imprint of "IMO" and the other side is scored in the middle. Is it a pain pill? ## Hi Janiece, I located a white oval pill that has IMO on one side and scored on the back with the numbers 2 | 125 on each side of the scoreline. I realize your description doesn't have numbers, but part of me suspects whether this might be related based on the striking resemblance I'm seeing. If it's of any help, the pill I'm describing is reportedly identified as Imodium advanced (Loperamide 2 mg / Simethicone 125 mg); used for treating diarrhea. For verification, the manufacturer/distributor is listed as McNeil Consumer Healthcare and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00045-0202. Does anyone else have thoughts to add?
