I just wanted to know how much hydrocodone is in this stuff and what the other two components do. I have a one year old and need to be functional so is it the same as taknig a 7.5 mg lortab or 5mg or even less than that? ## which component am I allergic to? redness, itching, fast pulse,headache. ## From what I'm finding, Histinex-HC is listed as containing 2.5mgs of Hydrocodone, 5mgs of Phenylephrine and 2mgs of Chlorpheniramine, per 5ml teaspoon. Lisa, the tablet with the L690 marking is an over the counter product used to treat sinus symptoms, such as those caused by the common cold. They contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen, and 15mgs of Phenylephrine. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, nervousness, and insomnia.
