Miglitol is an oral anti-diabetic drug that acts by inhibiting the ability of the patient to break down complex carbohydrates into glucose. Can I use GLIZET(500 mg-Gliclazide Metformin Hydrochloride Tablet) instead of glycinorm-M80 BD? ## From what I'm finding, Glyset actually contains Miglitol, not Metformin and Gliclazide, so they aren't the same medications.
