IF MY BLOOD SUGAR LABEL IS UNDER CONTROL,THEN SHOULD I TAKE TRIGLYNASE-2? ## You should follow your doctor's instructions. Have they told you to continue taking it? Tri Glynase contains Metformin and Pioglitazone, both of which are oral antidiabetic medications, but the relevant issues is that this medication may just be maintaining your blood sugar at normal levels. It may start to go up, again, if you stop taking it. There is no cure for diabetes.

I am a diabetic patient for last 18 years.At present my age is 62 years. previously I was taking half-half tablets daily before lunch & dinner. but after 5 to 6 years it is observer that my post meal sugar level is increased to220. Then i increased dose to1-1 tablet daily before meal. At present my sugar level is about 170 to 180.Now a days I am getting my shoulder joints frozen. A man presently aged 90 is taking Glynase MF for the last five years. All of a sudden ,he started talking to himself and could not recognise others. He was talking about going to his ancestor's house in his native place.He was very adamant. He was not able to understand what others talk to him. It appears as a slight mental disorder. He became more or less allright after 48 hours. Doctor adevised to stop Glynase MF as it will not suit him. I am suffering from DCM, diabetes, thyroid. I am taking ivanode, cardivas 10mg, tozaar 50, for cardiac problems. For diabetes I am taking glynase and glycomet sr 500 mg twice and mebaspa since 5 months to control loose stools as side effect of metformin. Also Eltroxin 25mcg. My cardiologist has prescribed nexito plus 5mg though I have no depression. I feel extreme daytime sleepiness and sleep for at least a couple or more hours in the daytime. Also gaining weight.
