I am diabetic and have high blood pressure. For diabetes I am on Glucophage XR 500mg (3 tabs a day) and for high blood pressure I have been taking Approval 300mg. Recently my doctor reduced my Glucophage to 2 tabs a day, the Approval to 150mg and added Concur 2.5mg. I want to know why Concur as this is a beta drug and read that it will camoflouge my sugar levels. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks. ## Have you asked your doctor why he wants you to take this one? Concor contains the active ingredient Bisoprolol, it is a beta blocker and, as such, it can mask some of the signs of low blood sugar, such as accelerated heart rate, since it can slow the heart rate. This doesn't mean that diabetics can't take it, but you should be aware of this, so you know to check your sugar level regul...

What is the name for Metformin HCL ER TAB 500mg ER in Mexico? ## I can't say for certain, but from what I could gather, Metformina (Glucophage XR) is the correct name for this in Mexico. Are you trying to order it online? ## Similar to your other question, once again, I have to advise you that it's best to just ask for the generic. The regulation of medications in Mexico is very sketchy, at best, so what may be available as a brand name for it today might not exist tomorrow and etc. However, the Spanish names that they use for the generic/active ingredient are usually very similar to what we use in the U.S. and that should enable you to find what you need. I've been taking Janumet XR (50/1000) for a long time but it has not been very effective in bringing down my blood sugar levels. I saw another doctor who advised I split the medication up by taking Januvia 100mg in the morning and Glucophage 1000mg XR in the evening or vice versa and this regimen has shown some improvement but not as much as I had hoped or desired. Please help with any feedback or recommendations. I am 70 years old.

Good Day, i am suffering from a yeast infection please advise if any of the following tablets cause yeast infection Atolip Ecotrin Vectoryl plus Glucophage XR SRT Ciplavasc 5mg ## Hello, KC! What types of foods do you eat? The NIH has some very informative articles on diabetes and a proper healthy diet. For example, you should avoid sweets, as much as possible, and if you do want something sweet, you should stick with fruits. When it comes to most vegetables, you can eat as much as you want, since most contain little fat and little sugars.
