Can Fluocinide cream 0.05 be used around the rectum for itching? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? You should not use it for that, unless your doctor has specifically prescribed it to treat it. There are some other conditions that this steroid may worsen, if they are what's causing the itching. What was it prescribed for? ## I used it for hemorrhoids (only on the outside) and it makes hemorrhoids go away fast.

Is there anything that can be used in place of Fluocinonide. It is just too expensive to buy, but the doctor has prescribed it and I did purchase it one time with great results.
