I'm suffering from Chronic Amibiaze with my intestinal system and was prescribed Flagyl as antibiotic. Unfortunately, I developed skin reaction and after consulting an allergologue it's now confirmed that I'm allergic go flagyl. In such case, what your recommendation of treatment instead of flagyl. My gastro have prescribed Intetrix but the problem of Amibiaze still the same and I'm still having issues to have normal pooh.

I am on my second round of Flagyl for C-Diff and I am still so fatigued and I have all the symptoms of TMJ. What can I do to feel better? ## Hello, Ora! How are you feeling? I have been given flagyl and vagaisil...but i started taking them this will be my 3rd day but i am getting abdominal pain and cramps really bad. I feel tjem in my ovaries to is that normal. ## It's probably the Flagyl, which contains Metronidazole, it can cause these types of symptoms as side effects. Learn more Metronidazole details here. Hi! Last dec i had a bacterial vaginosis, my ob gyne checked my records and found out that the medications i took is not for BV. So she decided to let me take falgyl now in my fourth month of pregnancy (my second trimister). Now that i am taking it i often feel a lower left abdominal pain. I was diagnosed of having BV and my OB prescribed Flagyl to take for 7 days. I had my period last July 13-18 and started the medicine at 07/21/17 until 07/28/17. How long after taking flagyl does your tongue stay white?I took 1000 miligrams for 7 days Monday was my last day and I still have a white tong ## Hi shawna, According to the link below, symptoms of "furry tongue, mouth or tongue irritation" can be a common side effect of Flagyl: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000888/ I do not however know the length of time that your tongue stays that way. I can only assume that it will eventually subside soon after you stop taking what's causing it. Have you discussed this concern with your doctor yet?

I was given penicillin vk for 7 days for a dental infection that lingered after a molar was removed. Two days after I finished the penicillin I developed headache on top and back of my head along with fullness at top back and around ears along with loud noise in my head. I went to walk in clinic and Dr. Said I had outer and middle ear infection and gave Ceftin 250mg every 12 hours for 10 days. I took it for 3 days and felt weak, shaky, and couldn't urinate very well except for in between doses if I waited for an hour then my kidneys would catch up. I went back. And was put on Augmentin for 10 days which I completed but the entire time the headache top and back of head improved some pressure improved a little but noise continued.
