I have been searching for Fexofenadine hcl / congestion (generic for Allegra D). No major pharmacy seem to have it. It is the only one I find help my allergies. The brand is so expensive. ## Have you tried ordering it from the web? There are many websites that offer it and it would be much easier than running around to more stores to look for it. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Fexofenadine is just a generic for Allegra, Allegra D contains it with Pseudoephedrine. ## I have been search too, no luck at any pharmacy in the DFW TX area. Something must be up with the maker of it, but no one seems to no what is going on- in fact few internet searches even result in others searching... it's as if almost no one notices the sudden disappearance. ...

Is the generic for Allegra D ( 60/120 mg) still made and is it a prescription medication? ## Hi Bud, The generic name for Allegra D is Fexofenadine + Pseudoephedrine; and from what I could gather, it is still manufactured, but only available with your doctor's prescription. I'm not sure why this is (being that Allegra D is now available OTC), so you'd probably have to contact your doctor for more details on that. Can I take metadata cd and allegra D together? ## Hello, Are you taking the Allegra D 24 hour, or 12 hour? Both of these varieties contain the active ingredients Fexofenadine + Pseudoephedrine. The Metadate CD contains the active ingredient Methylphenidate. Methylphenidate + Pseudoephedrine can both potentially increase blood pressure and heart rate, so combining the two may enhance the effects. You should speak with a doctor before combining these medications, especially if you have a history of high blood pressure of heart disease. CAN THE MAIN INGREDIENTS BE SEPARATED ## Hi MIZTAZ, To my understanding, the active ingredients in Allegra D 12hr are not intended to be tampered with or separated. If you just want Fexofenadine on its own, normal Allegra may be what it is you're looking for. Pseudoephedrine is also available on its own, and is marketed under the brand name Sudafed/12 hr. Both options should be available OTC, but you may have to ask your pharmacist to get it for you if it's behind one of those locked glass doors. I hope this helps to answer your question!

What is Alerid-D used for? What is the difference between it and Allegra D? ## Which medication are you asking about? Though they are both commonly used to treat allergies, these are two different products, with different ingredients. Allegra-D contains Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine, while Allerid-D contains Cetirizine and Phenylpropanolamine. Only have half of pill its oblong but flat top n bottom last number's are 012D 1/2 the pill is aprox. 1/2 inch its the color of spicy brown mustered.
