Does anybody know whether it is advisable or not to drink a caffeinated beverage after taking an Advil? I know that some other drugs such as Excedrin Migraine already contain caffeine in order to supplement the Acetaminophen and treat the headache more effectively. Does the same concept apply to Ibuprofen? ## I don't think that it will harm you if you drink caffeine after taking Advil, but I can't say whether or not it will have synergistic effects with the Ibuprofen the way that it could with Aspirin on Acetaminophen for instance.

I found a white ablong tablet unscored and had a capitol "E" on one side and the other was blank. It was mixed in with ibuprofen ## WIth a vague imprint like that, I can't be 100% certain, but I think what you have may be an Excedrin Migraine tablet. They meet this description and contain Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. Did you purchase them at any time?

Hi, I've been having migraines everyday of the week. the most severe migraines generally occur 2x a week or so. My neurologist has tried me on Tramadol, Nadolol, Fioricet, Fiorilan, Propranolol, Topamax, Excedrine, Ibuprophen, Aceteminophen, you name it! Nothing seems to knock it out unless I go into a deep sleep (I'm talking 7 hours+) because a 3-hour nap won't knock it out. I need to know of any pain doctors in the manalapan/freehold/morganville/old bridge (central jersey area) that are willing to understand where my pain is coming from. The only thing that I've tried before that has knocked it out is oxycodone. I hear it's very addictive, but I'm not a drug addict I just need to knock out this pain! I am having severe pain and also have a knot in the joint region of my right thumb at the thumb hand junction. Ibuprofen gives me severe stomach pain. I don't have ulcers but just can't tolerate ibuprofen. I have taken Darvocet for over 30 yrs to control my headaches, knee, and lower back pain. Now that I can no longer take it due to recall I am not taking anything other then Excedrin Migraine. It doesn't help very well especially if its a severe headache or joint pain. ## Have you consulted a doctor? They are really the only person that will be qualified to help you find a proper diagnosis, as to what's causing the problem and reach a proper treatment decision. What pain meds can I safely take while using Fosamax? I typically take ibuprofen or Excedrin for headaches or back pain.

I will be taking a urine stick test and would like to know if cephalexin, excedrin migraine or ibuprofen will cause a false positive on a drug screen? If so, how long will they stay in ur system? ## if I take cephalexin pills would I be able to pass a drug screen?

Hi, I am prescribed diazepam 10mg, suboxone 8/2 mg, ibuprofen 800 mg, and nexium 20 mg and I take over the counter Excedrin and women's multivitamins. My Dr gave me a drug test and it showed I was positive for Nordiazepam, Temazepam, and Oxazepam. I have no idea what these are, I've never heard of them. If anyone can please help me understand why these showed positive in my system or have any info at all please help. I had a hair follicle test done and it came back positive for amphetamines, and methamphetamine. I was wanting to know if any of the medicines I have been taken can cause a false positive. I tested positive for morphine in my system and do not take it. My husband does and am wondering if handling his would make me test positive? ## If all you're doing is touching them, to hand them to him, then no, you shouldn't be absorbing enough for it to be detected, because the tablets are coated. There are things, however, the can cause false positives.
