??I feel like my blood pressure is dropping and I get dizzy from taking two extra strength tablets. Is there anyone who knows why and recommendations to lessen the negative effect I.E. take with meal, specific vitamins or meds not to take! No other otc meds help...I don't want to give up taking this until I know if there is so strong I can do or take to minimize or stop the side effects I am experiencing... ## Hello, Gail! How are you? Did you mean Excedrin? If so, dizziness can be a normal side effect of it, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, stomach irritation, nervousness and insomnia. You may be able to mitigate it by taking it with food and not on an empty stomach. Have you ever checked your blood pressure, when you feel like that?

Hello. I took 2 Excedrin Extra Strength tablets yesterday for pain in my neck, shoulder & arm from maybe sleeping wrong... I noticed I started feeling real nauseated & dizzy. So I went to lay down & that didn't work, so I ate dinner to see if it would stop, but no, it just got worst & I vomited everything. This morning I still feel the same & ate 1 bowl of cereal & still feel nauseated/tired, just like eewwwww.....What should I do? ## Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to FDA reports. IT can also cause headache, nervousness, and insomnia. Extra Strength Excedrin 250 (Acetaminophen 250mg + Caffeine 65mg). I have it by Assured. It works just like the name brand. ## Spirit Pharmaceutical lists this tablet as containing 250mgs of Aspirin, 250mgs of Acetaminophen, and 65mgs of Caffeine. It is most commonly used to treat migraines. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, nausea, headache, insomnia, and nervousness. My friend gave me 2 pills she claimed were extra strength excedrine, but I had my doubts. They were bright red, no markings, and shaped like the white excedrine migraine. She gave them to me because I told her I was tired, but they really did not have any effect that I was aware of. She claimed the caffein would pep me up a bit, but it didn't. ## If there were no markings on them, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what they were. It is possible that they were a generic or store brand of Excedrin Migraine, which would contain Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. The amount of caffeine in each tablet is only 65mgs, so if you are used to ingesting large amounts of it, such as in coffee or sodas, then it probably wouldn't have much of an effect on you. I suffer from Hypnic headaches and the only thing that keeps my from waking up with a headache every morning is to take an Extra Strength Excedrin which has caffeine, acetaminophen and aspirin. The aspirin bothers my stomach and I am looking for something that has the caffeine (which I was told by the neurologiswas the treatment for these headaches) but caffeine by itself would only keep me awake at night. 500 mg of Acetaminophen (generic tylenol) formulated with 65 mg of Caffeine ## Hi Kevin, The only similar pill I can find based on the information you provided, is an extra strength green Excedrin gel cap with a white stripe in the middle. It could possibly be a generic version of Excedrin, or manufactured outside of the U.S. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a last resort, you could ask them about getting the pills ingredients lab tested and brought back to you. I hope this helps!

The pill with markings az 286 is an over the counter migraine pain reliever. It has tylenol, asprin & caffiene in it. The one I use is generic & is exactly like you described. I have found a capsule that is dark green with a white stripe around the middle and the letters EX on one side next to the stripe ## I found some of these as well.... any luck identifying them? ## Found one in hallway, was able to find the bottle, excedrin extra strength. ## That is correct, this is Extra Strength Excedrin, it contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. I found this pill its dark green with a white stripe and an ex on the side. Its not a gel capsul its a hard capsul and it has a 2 very long bumps almost like sides running alond the length of the pill.
