I recently started menopause, so I bought Estroven for my mood. This is all new to me. Is this something you take every day and for how long? Can Saint John's Wort be used with it? ## It is a supplement product that is claimed, but not proven to help with perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms, including mood changes. It should be taken according to the directions on the package, which the last time I bought it was once daily. The FDA does warn that it may cause nausea and irritability in some people that take it. As to taking it with St. John's Wort, I would suggest not doing so, without first checking with your doctor as it might be contraindicated with some of the ingredients in Estroven. Are you on any medications?

I have been prescribed 40 mg of Propranolol 2x a day plus one multivitamin a day, I have hyperthyroidism and anemia. I was wondering if I can take 1 Capsule of Estroven nighttime before bed. ## Hello, Lilymae! How are you? As far as I know, it's safe with the Propranolol, I was able to take it with other beta blockers, after checking with my doctor. However, with your medical conditions, the thyroid issue and the anemia, I'm not sure and think you should check in with your doctor, before taking it, just to be safe. Do you take a medication for your thyroid condition?

I have been taking Estroven for about six years now. All of a sudden I have cataracts in both eyes. Due to St. John's Wort photosensitive properities they may possibily promote cataracts. Anyone else experiencing cataracts after taking Estroven? ## Which formulation have you been taking? There are several available. As to cataracts, I didn't find any reports of it possibly causing them. However, since they are over the counter supplements, they have not been tested, and evaluated by the FDA for any risks, or benefits, as is down with prescription medications. I'm having chronic insomnia from coming off Xanax .5mg 4×a day I've been using zzquil 50mg and 0.1mg colonidine at bedtime and even using 10mg propranolol along with it I also have used Alteril but it seem to cause my heart rate to jump up but any way I use these mess I still can't fall asleep I've slept about 11 hours in the past 5 days all I do is just lay there all night with my eyes closed hoping that sleep will come only to find myself getting back out of bed around 3am and waiting on daylight. I was c/t from the Xanax 4 and a haft months ago and have been in hell ever day I was on the Xanax 12 and haft years didn't even need it but here i wondering what to use its. I have seemed to gain weight over the last few months in my belly area. I take estra noreth but would like to take, along with it, the new Estroven Weight Management to possibly help with the weight. have been taking lisinopril for about two yrs . Am wanting to start estroven for menopausal symptoms... I read that black cohosh should not be taken with lisinopril. Anyone out there have any input on this? ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? The reason for that is due to the fact that Black Cohosh can also lower blood pressure, thus, it depends on where yours is with the Lisinopril and if your doctor approves of you taking it. In some case, it could cause it go too low, which may be dangerous. Lisinopril is classified by the FDA as an ACE inhibitor and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, increased urination and hypotension. What could be the result of combining Hydrocodone with Temazapam, Zolpidem,Propranolol, Simvastatin,and Venlafaxine? Combine this with 100 mg diphenhydramine, Alteril, & Estroven. ## Well, the first thing that jumps out at me is the Diphenydramine, why is she taking 100mgs of that? estroven for prememipause did it help

I am on the suboxone program and the last two urine tests have come back positive for tramadol. I have honestly had no type of painkillers in over five months, and it has only been the Last two visits and the only thing that has changes is I started taking estroven and Garcina cambogia with citrimax.
