This is a combination of butalbital, acetaminophen & caffeine and is prescribed for tension headaches. We would like to know the amount of each of the drugs contained in the medication. The drug company producing this medication is Merck-Medco. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. I take esgic plus which has the same ingredients as fioricet, but my pharmacy tells me they are going to stop making them or come up with a new formula, do you have any info on that? I have very bad vascular headaches and if its not soon then I'm in for some painful headaches, nothing else works except prescription stadol nasal spray, but it makes me very sick...:( ## Hello, Sam!
