I was taking Emoquette for a couple years without any problems. The pharmacy all of a sudden changed my pills to Enskyce. I've been on it for about 5 mos & have noticed a lot of hair shedding & abnormal mestrual cycles. I'm also suffering nausea, headaches, fatigue & a decrease in libido along with moodiness. Not sure if all the issues are related to the bc pills, but I don't know what's going on with me. Going to the doctor today to let her know I can no longer take these pills & to notify my pharmacy that I need to be switched back to Emoquette asap. If you missed pills during your period week, it won't make a difference. They are inactive and you don't ovulate that week. Each missed active pill can increase your risk of pregnancy, but you'd really have to miss them around the time of the month that you ovulate, for the risk to be any higher. By suppressing your natural hormones with oral contraceptives, it prevents ovulation from occurring. Typical side effects to oral contraceptives, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, breakthrough bleeding and PMS like symptoms. How much will zonisamide affect oxycontin? I started both meds together. The oxycontin is temporary because of dental work. I just started birth control called enskyce. I queeeze an average of 5 grapefruits a day and drink it all day. I haven't noticed any side effects from zonisamide since I started a week ago on 100 MG for having a grand Mal seizure 6 weeks ago. I did take vitamins really late tonight which is dumb, I know to take then in the am. I took my birth control, zonisamide, centrum silver for women over 50, and some vitamin for hair skin and nails from Walgreens (I'm 26 but my last meds made my hair fail out) and I got super shakey and very alert(3 hrs later I still am) I was very drowsy before the vitamins so I know that was the culprit. I have been taking enskyce for the last few months. My boyfriend and I had sex the other day and I had forgotten to take my pill the day before and that day so I took both right after we had sex. What are the chances I may be pregnant?
