I first started on Enablex with worked really well. Cost went up and Dr put me on Oxybutynin 2 times a day. He recently changed me to the Extended Release and instructions state to used 1 at night. Well, it works fine until late afternoon and then I start having issues. If I could take in the morning it should last me all day but do not know if there is a reason that it has to be taken just a night. ## Some doctors recommend taking it at night, due to the possible side effects it can cause, which may include dizziness, drowsiness and blurry vision, as listed by the FDA. That way when they hit their peak, you're basically sleeping through them. However, it should be fine to take it in the morning, but it would be best to double check with your doctor to be sure. Found a baggy of small round white pills in kid's stuff. The pill has the letter D on one side. The other side has the letter F with a top aligned minus sign / dash next to it. This medicine is so expensive, and for 1 month I have used and it is very effective. No side effects. Iis there an alternative? ## Hello, Marci! How are you? I'm sorry about the expense. Yes, there are some alternatives available that may be cheaper. You could ask your doctor about trying Vesicare or Enablex. However, they aren't exactly the same, so there is chance that they may cause you to experience some side effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and blurry vision. Is there anything else I can help with?
