Hi, I have severe gastroparesis for 5 years now. I’ve been through tubes, pics, ports, pyloroplasty and Botox. I asked my dr if I could try emend and she gave the okand the script. I have to say, emend plus zofran was the best anti nausea and barfing control that I’ve ever had! I was so happy! But, it’s $20 for 3 pills!! I can’t afford this because of all my other meds as well. Could I get it in IV form and administer it to myself with my drs approval? Also if you get it for Iv, do you get more than 3 days worth at a time? Or more pills for the high copays? Thank you so much! Wendy ## it is used to treat severe forms of nausea, so yes, it can be taken by people who do not have cancer. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsin...

Can I take celebrex, decaadron, beneadryl, emend, propofol, versed and fentanyl, just for one day with 40mg if methadone ## The Fentanyl and Methadone can both increase the amounts of each other that you absorb, so it would be best not to mix them, unless your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There are also several issues among the others with the Fentanyl and Methadone, because many of them can cause sedation, which could be too much for some people. Is there anything else I can help with?

Have been prescribed Contrave but can stand pain but don't do nausea very well ## Hello, Clipscomb! How are you? It is a possible side effect, along with dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia and anorexia, as listed by the FDA. How have you reacted to other medications? Do you usually experience nausea? ## I’ve never tried it! I’d love anything to get rid of nausea! I’ve been trying Emend which works well, but costs $20 for 3 pills!
