Does anyone know what would happen if I took one the the referenced pills if it's expired for a year? ## The worst that will happen with this type of pill is it might be slightly less effective, very few pills actually get dangerous with age and this is not one of them, All of them do, however, lose potency over time, so it might not be as strong as it was when you first filled your prescription. I am concerned here about the fact that you are trying to self-diagnose, though. If you are experiencing edema/swelling, there could be several reasons for it, and taking a pill that was prescribed to treat an old condition might not be appropriate for this one if your condition has changed. You should really consult your doctor to rule out serious problems.

water pill for blood pressure ## I have taken Dyazide cap 37.5-25, two per day for 25 yrs. My doctor changed the prescription to one per day. I am 1000 miles from home until June l. I last saw him in Oct. 2005. Should this happen without explaintion. ## No other medicaion for blood pressure was perscribed. ## I would prefer to continue with two per day. Has anyone experienced migraine headaches while taking Amlodipine? ## No headaches but watched my blood pressure increase up to 200/95 immediately after it was swallowed. In the beginning it was okay but they changed manufacturers and who knows what inactive ingredients were added. Quit taking it and now only take Brand name Dyazide 37.5mg/25 mg capsule once a day in the morning same time every day. I even tried brand name NORVASC (amlodipine besylate) and that increased my blood pressure up to stroke levels. ## I have had no problem with Amlodipine. It has finally been the answer to my blood pressure problems. I was given 2.5 mg and it didn't help much but my doctor added another 2.5 mg at night and it's been wonderful. I am trying to find who makes the pink and white capsule for Triamterene/HCTZ. I have taken it for about a year, but recently my pharmac changed to white and black. Have you considered trying any online pharmacies based here in the US? If not, I would recommend checking with sites such as PharmacyChecker, as they only list certified (reputable) online pharmacies. Although I am pretty sure that those pharmacies would require a prescription because PharmacyChecker puts them through a rigorous certification process.
