The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nasal irritation, headache, nausea, and an odd taste in your mouth. Joe, I would suggest not combining it with any other medications, with your physician's approval. Som, Has she consulted a doctor? It sounds like she may be suffering from allergies. If so, most formulations of it contain Pseudoephedrine, so you have to ask for it at a pharmacy counter and show your identification and sign for the purchase. It does not, however, require a prescription.

I did find out though that this medication contains a combination of Acetaminophen + Pseudoephedrine as its primary ingredients.
