Dosis for an adult of dramamine ## Hello, Nury! How are you? Unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, you should follow the dosing instructions as provided on the package. That would be 1 to 2 tablets, every 4 to 6 hours, nor more than 8 tablets a day for adults. Side effects may include drowsiness and dizziness. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am preparing to go on a cruise. Has anyone taken Toprol XL with Dramamine or other anti-dizziness drugs...OTC or otherwise? There are numerous drugs and foods that seem to interact adversely with Toprol XL. Thanks for your reply. ## I've been on Toprol XL 50mg for several years. I have taken airline flights and used both dramamine and another brand with no side effects and they did the job. I didn't get nauseated or sick. Kathy ## Kathy: You were correct. The Dramamine worked fine. I had a great flight and cruise. Thanks.

My husband always takes dramamine when we travel to avoid motion sickness on planes, trains, taxi's, etc. It works excellently for the motion sickness, but always makes him tired and spacey. Dramamine 2 does not work as well and though doesn't make him as tired, makes him spacey for a longer period of time. So my question is if there is anything being tried in the medical research community to further eliminate the drowsiness caused? I have read that one of the ingredients in Dramamine is 8-Chlorotheophylline to counteract the drowsiness. Is there any form of Dramamine that has a higher dosage of 8-Chlorotheophylline? Or would there be any way to have 8-Chlorotheophylline prescribed separately so it could be given in a higher dose? With so many people relying on this product, it...

What is it? I found one in my house, but noone claims it. ## it's dramamine ## Time Cap Laboratories lists this tablet as containing 25mgs of Meclizine, which is actually a generic for Bonine, but it is used to treat motion sickness, and nausea, just like Dramamine. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and weight changes. NDC code: 49483-0086 Is there anything else I can help with?

The pill has DRA I think, but the other side has been rubbed off. ## Hello, Angie! How are you? The DRA marking is used on over the counter Dramamine products, but without anything on the opposite side. It contains the active ingredient Dimenhydrinate and is used to prevent motion sickness and vertigo. Learn more Dramamine details here. I'm not sure which one this is though, since they are all very similar and the color is the only difference. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Pill is Subutex 8mg. Round, Orange, Scored, Capital DRA on opposite side. ## The yellow one with DRL on one side, is the less drowsy formula of Dramamine. The white one with DRL on one side, is the original formula of Dramamine. ## I've been unable to confirm this anywhere else. I actually can...

Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. Please help - I need to know what this is I found in my sons room. ## My research also yields Dramamine (25mg) as a result with an imprint of "DRA" under the following National Drug Code of 63029-904, except the white color and second score line don't match up as you already pointed out. I see that Subutex is listed as a suspect in another related discussion thread here, but the post (#...

I have been on Contrave over one month. I was so nauseous that I cut down from four pills a day to three,2 in the morning and 1 at night. I am still experiencing nausea, thinking of trying Dramamine. The " grazing" during the day has completely disappeared. I have lost a few pounds, so it's going very slowly. I also had gastric bypass 10 years ago and started to gain again in the last 5 years. Sure hope Contrave will continue to help, though the nausea seems to be winning at this point. Also have ringing in the ears. The nasty taste in my mouth is disgusting. Kind of like a metallic/ bitter taste. It's a reason why I cut down to 3 pills a day and have to say that did help! ## Those can be normal side effects of the medication, according to FDA reports, but typically such i...

pink capsule ## I was a hospice nurse years ago when pharmacies had to compound this 5 agent anti-nausea medication. They could make it in a capsule or suppository form. It contained: 10mg each of dexamethasone(Decadron) and motoclopramide(Reglan) 50mg of Dramamine,25 mg diphenhydramine(Benedryl) and 2mg of Cogentin. Originally used as an adjunct to chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, it became a highly therapeutic choice for hospice patients as well. Hospice contined to use it even after Zofran was introduced because it was a much less expensive alternative. And highly effective! The 5 different drugs each target a different nausea mechanism in the body i.e. brain, stomach etc so the patient could get immediate relief without having to figure out which nausea center was being affe...

just took Bonine for the first time and i feel nautious. wondering if it is an initial effect of Bonine, or maybe because i drank some coffee not too long ago. plus i am getting on a plane and might be a bit nervous. can anybody else share their experiences with Bonine or Dramamine? ## Bonine contains the active ingredient Meclizine, and Dramamine contains the active ingredient Dimenhydrinate, both are used to help treat, or prevent nausea, vomiting, and vertigo. Ref: Bonine Information Ref: Dramamine Information The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. My best guess is that nausea is due to the coffee, and nerves, rather than the Bonine. Additionally, if you just took it, you wouldn't be feeling the side effects ...

How are you? Is the marking possible DRA? If so, it may be an over the counter Dramamine product, they use that logo on all of their products. I found a white round un-coated tablet, about 1mm in diameter. It has DRA imprinted on one side and a score on the other side. Im just curious as to what it is as I have never seen anything like it before, I initially thought it was a stray tylenol because of its plain appearance. ## That's a children's Dramamine pill.
