Dihydrocodeine is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic prescribed for pain or severe dyspnea, or as an antitussive, either alone or compounded with paracetamol (acetaminophen) (as in co-dydramol) or aspirin. It was developed in Germany in 1908 and first marketed in 1911.[3] Commonly available as tablets, solutions, elixirs, and other oral forms, dihydrocodeine is also available in some countries as an injectable solution for deep subcutaneous and intra-muscular administration. I get dfs as part of treatment for internal problems, (i.e. cd, I get prescribed 30mg white, some tablets have C D H and others E54 I think, but just lately I have been receiving different markings C D A). The bottom line is have I got a cause for worry, as they are now being picked up by a friend and are now in a bottle? Any advice or info would be great. Thanks for your time. ## I recently received dfs from M & A Pharmachem. They're a round white scored pill. Have any of u had them before? If so, are they ok?

## What are the available milligrams of dihydrocodeine? ## They come in 30mg, 60mg and 120mg. I don't know if they get any stronger than that. ## 30mg I find works better for myself as I am sure the stronger they get they become time-released, coated, and don't have the same all around efficacy. ## This is a narcotic and will carry the same risk of addition and side effects as other narcotics. Side effects may include:nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions? ## I'm taking 30mg of dihydrocodeine as prescribed, but when I take the 30mg I get stomach aches. I have been told that there's more chalk in the 30mg than the 60mg of dihydrocodeine tablets. Is this true? ## For your stomach cramps 'rabeprazole' would sort it out superbl...

My Boots pharmacy can no longer get Dihydrocodeine fast and slow acting. Is it available at other pharmacies in Nottingham? I've had to switch to Tramadol long and short acting but the side effects of headaches are exhausting. I'm on day 48 of my current headache. Dihydrocodeine was really good for me. I was able to work and drive with no problems. I have several health conditions that make alternative tablets difficult to take.

I work away from home and find making an appt. with my GP hard. So my sciatica flared up and I filled my dihydrocodeine prescription from a proper reputable site - with a uk licensed GP and pharmacy who prescribed and dispensed it. They are unmarked pills - packaging says Bristol Laboratory. I feel they're not as effected as the ones I had been prescribed last year. I don't know if it's psychological or the pills really are not what they are meant to be. As said it's a proper GP site - they prescribe them. ## Same!!! I've just noticed that mine don't work. Obviously a bad manufacturer. ## I'm looking for a GP to prescribe Dihydrocodiene and need this med for Arthritis. Can someone let me know where to go? I'm struggling. It's much more difficult or ou...

I always have Almas or Actavis as a brand. They've given me Bristol laboratories this time. Is there any difference or is it just the brand? I worry cause I suffer with crohn's very badly. ## Hello, Tara! How are you? It's the same medication, just manufactured by a different company. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you ! I was just worried I always use the brand you use so I was worried. Nice to know someone out there helps when needed ## They are a bad excuse for Dihydrocodeine . They don't even work for me love . ## l usually have Dihydrocodeine with Actav...

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen,[a] is a medication used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain.[11][12] At a standard dose, paracetamol only slightly decreases body temperature;[11][13][14] it is inferior to ibuprofen in that respect,[15] and the benefits of its use for fever are unclear.[11][16][17] Paracetamol may reliev...

This is a combination of a narcotic anagesic containing 15 mg of dihydrocodeine, 325 mg of acetaminophen (APAP) and 50 mg of caffeine. Dyhydrocodeine is about one to two times more potent as Codeine, but it is not as potent as Hydrocodone. A typical does of 30 mg of dihydrocodeine is about equal to 45-60 mg of Codeine. Duhydrocodeine is both a Schedule II controlled substance by itself and a Schedule III controlled substance when compounded with APAP or Asprin (ASA). It is rarely used in America and for reasons unbeknown; nonetheless it's low abuse potential allows it to be sold OTC in Europe as an anagesic in strengths of 7.49 mg dihydrocodeine compounded with 500 mg of APAP. US LAW: If sold in the US this would be a Schedule III Controlled Substance It is also available by prescri...

does anyone know where i can pain tablets df118 30mg or remedeine forte dihydrocodeine ## I'm not fully understanding your question due to a couple grammatical errors in your description (i.e. - "know where I can pain tablets"). However I would still like to offer more information if that helps: DF 118 forte tablets contain the active ingredient dihydrocodeine, which is indicated for use in the management of moderate to moderately severe pain as well as coughing and shortness of breath. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Dihydrocodeine Details Please post back if you're able to rephrase your sentence. It seemed like a simple typo, but even missing a couple words can throw off the entire meaning behind your question.

Mother's autopsy came back with blood levels of Temanzepan 31, dihydrocodeine/hydrocodol 42, hydrocodone 250, hydro morphone 69. All in nano. And she did take multiple other drugs. Can you tell me how many 7.5/325 pills she would have taken to have these levels? She was 83 with multiple heart and kidney issues - did not know if these issues would hinder the metabolism of the drug?

can you get Co-Dydramol tablets in capsule form This is the 10/500 gm size ## Based on my research, Co-Dydramol (Paracetamol + Dihydrocodeine) is only available in tablet form, at least here in the US. I haven't been able to check whether or not other countries also utilize tablets or capsules for this medication, since there are no public drug databases for medications manufactured outside of the US. If you really need to have this pill in capsule form, I'd suggest talking to your doctor about any safety measures or precautions that involve the use of a pill crusher and putting it into a clear veggie capsule. I hope this helps!
