Is there any over the counter Rx containing these active ingredients in the U.S.A.? It used to be under the name of Drixoral Cold & Allergy & It worked great at relieving my allergies but just like so many other things that worked the government took it off the market. ## Hello, Adam! How are you? No, I'm sorry, but there is nothing currently available that contains these ingredients. Have you tried the other options that are available?

I used to be able to get this locally, then I had to fill it from Canada. I forget what they called it, but pseudoephedrine is on prescription in Oregon, USA (Medicare won't cover it). I usually sent them a non-repo copy of my prescription, plus my ID and $$ and had n o trouble getting it. The last batch I got came from China, and it cost $36 US. It vanished off the market, and I heard a rumor that the company that was making it couldn't find a good location to manufacture it. Since then nobody knows nuthin'. IT'S THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS FOR ME. Period. I do have sudafed, but it's not really doing the antihistamine piece the way I need it. There is such a great demand for this product, either Drixoral, Disophrol, whatever, that I wonder why any manufacturer would hes...

Is Disobrom an excellent substitute for Drixoral? Looking for the original little green pill ## At this time, it is no longer being manufactured and sold in the U.S. by the manufacturer Schering-Plough. It's still available in Canada and a few other countries, but not anywhere in the U.S. So, you may be able to find a website to order it from. I purchase my Drixoral at Costco and have ebeen told they are no longer able to get it, because it is be reformulated, is this correct ## I usually get mine at Walmart. They cannot get it, either. No explanation. I hope they did not find something dangerous with it. ## Maybe you can try to find a small Mom n' Pop pharmacy that still compounds formulas. The active ingredients in this med are Dexbrompheniramine and Pseudoephedrine. If you go to one of those pharmacies and tell them the ingredients they might be able to formulate it for you. ## The manufacturer did the same thing about 2 years ago and there was talk they were going to reformulate it then but they did not. There isn't another drug with the same ingredients. Not sure why, but every time I can't get it, I get very...
