Is combunox still available? ## As far as I know it is, it was approved by the U.S. FDA in 2005. Of course, this may not be relevant to you if you are not in the U.S. In that case, please post back with the country you are in and I will check for you. white pill 5400 mg f/p long rectangular ## This is called Combunox. It is Ibuprofen or Motrin 400mg with 5mg of oxycodone or percocet. The oxycodone is a schedule two narcotic medication and can be very addictive. Also, one should not drive while taking it as it can make you tired or extremely dizzy.

F P on one side and 5400 on the other white oval ## This is Combunox it contains 400mgs Acetaminophen and 5mgs Oxycodone. It is a narcotic pain med. ## This actually contains 400mg of Ibuprofen and 5mg of Oxycodone. It does not contain Acetaminophen.

Oblong shaped white pill w split in the middle has f and p on one side on each side of the split and 5400 on the back ## This is a fairly new drug called Combunox, it contains Ibuprofen 400mgs and Oxycodone 5mgs, it is a narcotic pain reliever for people who can't tolerate the Acetaminophen that is usually used in other meds of this class.

What is it and what is it used for? ## hi, am diabetic and have been put on mixtard infusion twice a day by my doc, however pimples have invaded my face and yet i have had no pimples before. Coud this be a bad effect of the drug? if so what effective remedies could you suggest for the pimples. I've used pimple creams and other commom remedies to no avail.p'se help. ## @AB, To answer your question, Oxyprofen (brand name Combunox) contains the active ingredients Ibuprofen + Oxycodone. I didn't find exact dosages, but I'd imagine the 30mgs would probably be associated with Oxycodone, and the 100mgs is likely to be for Ibuprofen. capsule ## There is no medication that I can find that is called Oxyprophen. I am assuming you are referring to a formulation that contains Oxycodone and either Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen? These formulations are narcotic pain relievers and may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. do you think that this new drug could replace the ever popular percocet? My pharmacy goes through at atleast 20 or so scripts for percocet (real and phony) each day. When word gets out do u think this could be the new rage for junkies and people who suffer from long term pain? ## There will always be something that is the 'in thing' for those that want to get high, the prevailing preference usually goes according to whatever is easiest to obtain. my friend was given a pill and was told its something new called an oxyprophin, oxycodone with ibuprofen. It's a white capsule with thin blue powder inside but no imprints on the capsule. Was in the er a few nights ago and the doctor gave me 600 mg Mortrain and 2 325 mg of percocet. When we took my prescriptions In to get filled they switch them to oxycodone and ibuprofen can I still take them together like the doctor wants ## Hi Heather, How are you? Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Ibuprofen and Oxycodone. With that said, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to continue taking them together as the doctor suggested. There's also a brand available here in the US by the name of Combunox, which reportedly contains both of these active ingredients as well. I just gave my husband 600mg ibuprofen 2 hrs ago. Can I give him the 10 mg oxycodone now or do I have to wait 2 more hours? ## Yes, ibuprofen is a different class of drug and can be taken at the same time, though for better pain control they are often staggered. So if he's prescribed oxycodone every 6 hours, you could give a dose, then 3 hrs later give ibuprofen, 3 hrs later give the oxycodone again...and so on. Just make sure he's not exceeding the max dose per day of oxycodone. ## @Stark, I just wanted to add a second opinion, in that Oxycodone + Ibuprofen is also available as a combination med that goes by the name of "Combunox". FOR PAIN ## i have lower back pain and if wasnt for this pill i would be in trouble. loratabs didnt work. but it takes at least 3 a day. i work standing up 10 hrs a day .would this pill be okay longterm?
