Last month when I picked up my refill for Chlorzoxazone 500mg. I noticed it was round instead on Oblong. The month before by pharmacy was out of the med so they transferred it to a competitor. It only had 1 refill left so when it came time for my refill I called my Dr. to call in my refill to my normal pharmacy. So, when the shape was different I thought maybe they changed to a different drug company. I put in for a refill earlier this week and a day later a received a call from the pharmacist. She seemed very concerned and very apologetic but proceeded to tell me that they had given me Chlorothiazide 500mg instead of the Chlorzoxazone 500mg. I had taken 93 of the wrong medication. Which is for high blood pressure and a diuretic. I ask her if it was okay to just quit taking the Chloroth...

I found a round white pill stamped MYLAN 62. I would appreciate it if you can tell me more information please. Thank you ## Did you mean to say Mylan 162 instead of 62? Mylan 162 is the closest match I could find to Mylan 62. The word Mylan and 162 are on the same side of the pill with a score line going across the middle - and the otherside of the pill is just solid white. pink oval scored ## This is 500mg chlorothiazide or Diurel. It is an older tablet, no longer produced. It is a water pill used for high blood pressure. Side effects include dizziness, inability to pass urine, blurred vision, among others.

I have chlorothiazide. Showing up in my urine. My dr and I cannot understand where this is coming from. I am on spironolactone would that show up as chlorothiazide on a urinalysis?
