I am on storwin together with cardicor, ecotrin and 1/2 lisindopril. Besides these i take eltroxin, omega., vit C ! calcium., talomil and vit B , my doctor suggested alternate nights on storwin with enzyme Q10 on other night. My cardiologist says my aching legs day and night are "all in the mind". I find this unacceptable and he also suggested that i go off storwin for a month and see if it makes a difference. So i am very confused and not happy to be in pain like this

Blackcurrant seed oil Gamma-linolenic acid, GLA

Blackcurrant seed oil is derived from the seeds of Ribes nigrum (black currant, or European currant). It contains an unusually high amount of omega-6 (15–20 percent) as well as a high amount of omega-3 fatty acids (12–14 percent). It also contains linoleic acid as well as 2–4 percent stearidonic acid. There are some indications that blackcurrant seed oil is anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective.[1] In European folk medicine, black currant once had a consider...

i have just been put on lisinopril 10mg,but after reading about it, am scared to take it, because i take aspirin once a while for body ache and also take FLAX OIL omega 3 daily, can i still go ahead with the prescription? the doctor said its okay, just want a second opinion. ## Hi, I've been on Lisinopril 10 mg. for at least 5 years. I take 10- 1,000mg of fish oil and a Plavix every other day and have no problems with it. I'm 76 years old. I hope this helps. (The fish oil helps with inflammation for arthritis). ## Lisinopril is an ACE Inhibitor that is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions and as Kittty already stated, it is often combined with the other products you mentioned. Many of them also help with cardiac function. If you are still worried, plea...

good day, can i have have a list of fish oil supplement that could be a good choice and as well as inexpensive and available in the philippines? i am 21 years old. thank you. ## I'm sorry, this site does not manufacture, nor sell any products. As to what might be available for you, I have no way of knowing that, since we are based in the U.S. I can tell you, however, from what my own cardiac doctor told me to purchase, that it is usually recommended to take 2000mgs a day and you should make sure that whatever you purchase contains at least 700mgs of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, both the EPA and DHA varieties. Have you tried asking a local chemist to recommend one? ## I am not a doctor but I recently switched to high dose DHA in fish oil. A serving should contain at least 500 mg of dha alone...

I had a heart attack and DES stent and was told to take Plavix, Metoprolol, Lipitor, and aspirin. I quit taking Plavix after 6 months even though my cardiologist wanted me to take it for 2 years. I also quit taking the Metoprolol, Lipitor, and aspirin. Well that was 9 months ago when I stopped taking everything and I feel great. My doctor says I was lucky that nothing happened. Lucky? Luck has nothing to do with it! I became a vegan and follow the Ornish diet strictly. I take vegan Omega3's. I also take coq10, a multi-vitamin, and drink unprocessed cocoa. I exercise. My LDL without drugs is 70. My bp is 105/70. To hell with Plavix. ## Actually, the reason your doctor said you were lucky is due to the rebound effects that suddenly stopping such medications can cause. These effects ca...

My pharmacist keeps changing between the meds mentioned above. Why? And I see that citalopram is not heart friendly. I am also on cardicor, liso, storwin, ecotrin, 0.1mg of eltroxin, 1/2 zopigen at night, calcium, multivitamin and omega 6. ## Talomil is just a brand name for Citalopram, so there is actually no change. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. What type of heart condition do have you been diagnosed with?

Cardi Omega 3 Seal oil with DPA, DHA, EPA. Product of Canada. Brand name is INNOTECH

My husband has been taking Cardioace plus : omega3 supplement for a long time he took around 140 capsules through out a period of 4 months, however, we have just figured out that the cough, chest pain and breathing difficulties he was suffering from were side effects of cardioace. How long will it take his system to flush that supplement ? Thank you ## Since it is a supplement, rather than a medication, there is really no way to say, since they are not tested and studied as thoroughly as medications are. As to symptoms he is experiencing, has he talked to a doctor, yet? The concern here is that those are not normal symptoms experienced when one is taking a supplement like this. However, there is a warning about people who's heart function is already compromised and using an Omega-3 ...
