C 1000 mg, Calcium/Magnesium, Vit D 2000 IU, Co-enzyme Q 10 200 mg, Biosil and Lutein. My doc said "no", but didn't tell me why not. Can't find any info anywhere to determine abiut this. Flat round white pill. Vitamin D3 1000 Unit. Pls describe what this will do and is the dose too much? ## Vitamin D supplementing can be essential for those who don't get enough sunlight. Vitamin D2 is a synthetic version of D3, so it is great that you have D3 instead of D2! Vitamin D insufficiency can result in thin, brittle, or misshapen bones, while sufficiency prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults, and, together with calcium, helps to protect older adults from osteoporosis. Personally I supplement with Vitamin D3 2000 Unit. I have read that as much as 5000 Unit isn't overdosing, especially if you aren't in the sunlight very often. Hope this information helps! Please post back if you have any other questions or comments. ## During Crohn's illness or e...

I am an ankylosing spondylitis patient. I have been prescribed by a delhi doctor to have tablet DC Bone. However I reside in Kolkata and these tablets r not available here. I have been adviced by the chemist to have Calcimax Forte instead. Though it has the same components, can it be taken as a substitute for DC Bone Tablet. ## I can't find any information on a tablet under the name DC Bone. However, Calcimax Forte contains 1000mgs of Calcium Carbonate, 100mgs of Magnesium, 200i.u.s of Vitamin D and 4mgs of Zinc. So, as long as it meets or exceeds what is in the tablet the doctor recommended, then yes, it is fine to use it, instead. Are there any comments or questions?

how the medicine is helping and what is its side effect ## Complete-TD is a nutritional supplement, not a drug. It contains: biotin 30 mcg, calcium 162 mg, calcium pantothenate 12.5 mg, chromium 65 mcg, copper 2.5 mg, folic acid 1 mg, iron 33.3 mg, manganese 1.4 mg, niacinamide 50 mg, selenium 60 mcg, vitamin A 5000 iu, vitamin B1 10 mg, vitamin B12 5 mcg, vitamin B2 10 mg, vitamin B6 3 mg, vitamin D3 200 iu, vitamin E 25 iu and zinc 15 mgs. What this means is that the side effect profile for it has not been studied, as has been done for prescription medications. However, some users do report some nausea, after taking them. Many health problems can be caused or aggravated if you do not get enough of these vital nutrients in your diet. Therefore, these are used to prevent or treat those ...

my doctor prescribed medobalamin/levomefolate calcium/pyridozal phospate 3-35-2mg macoven pharmac Is this a B12 supplement?? I have B12 2000mcg I bought from Walgreens, for a lot cheaper. Are these the same vitamins, can I take both? Which is preferred? ## The one prescribed by your doctor is actually a complex of B Vitamins, rather than just containing one like the one you bought from Walgreens, it contains several of them. Have you asked your doctor? Personally, I'd assume that there is some reason they prescribed the complex that contains several of the B vitamins.

medium oval shape pink pill with no writing on it. what can it be. perhaps energy? ## There is no way to say for sure what it is, if there is no imprint on the tablet, very sorry. Legal US prescription drugs must all have unique imprints to enable their identification, otherwise it could be anything. Where did you find it? ## I located a pill with similar markings to a round, pink colored pill with M 4 on it, it's Magnesium Carbonate 400 mg, Calcium Carbonate 200 mg, and Folic Acid 1 mg, which is listed as a vitamin supplement. If this is not your pill, please post back so I can help you locate the correct one. ## I found a oval shaped light pink with teeny darker speckles, no lines, no i.d. markings. It's 3/4 inch in length, and approx 5/12 inches thick in middle.
