Bufferin Aspirin, ASA + Calcium Carbonate + Magnesium Oxide + Magnesium Carbonate

Aspirin, also known as acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), is a medication used to reduce pain, fever, or inflammation.[5] Specific inflammatory conditions which aspirin is used to treat include Kawasaki disease, pericarditis, and rheumatic fever.[5] Aspirin given shortly after a heart attack decreases the risk of death.[5] Aspirin is also used long-term to help prevent further heart attacks, ischaemic strokes, and blood clots in people at high risk.&am...

Will ESB Bufferin ever come back on the market? Bayer does not work as well. ## Extra Strength Bufferin (ESB) contains 500mgs of buffered aspirin. Have you ever tried taking 2 regular strength buffered aspirin. I think its effects would be similar to taking an extra strength one? CVS still sells it's version of "Buffered Regular Strength Aspirin Coated Tablets" OTC, containing aspirin (325mg) + calcium (35 mg) + magnesium (40 mg); which appear to be the same ingredients found in the extra strength version (just at different dosages). If you run a google search for "buffered aspirin cvs", it should come up on CVS's webpage for more details. I hope this helps in any way! ## Thanks, but I've been buying Bayer Buffered extra strength during the hiatus. It's o...

I bought a 130 ct bottle of low dosage Bufferin for heart reasons. (I recently had a tripple bypass) I noticed that several pills we only half sized while others were concave on one side thereby reducing the dosage. I have switched to Bayer. ## If they were purchased in the U.S. you can report these anomalies to the FDA at 800-332-1088, but they will probably need the information from the packaging, such as the lot number and expiration date. You can also contact the manufacturer and the information to do that should also be on the packaging. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I have the same problem. Half sized pills with some concave pills. They are from a 130 ct also. I need to know how to get in touch the the maker. No info on the bottle, and the paper insert has been thr...

I found some pills that are white oblong with ESB on them. They were in a bottle, dated April 1994, that says Apa/Hydroco Tab 7.5/750. Anyone know what they are? ## The tablets are most likely over the counter Aspirin 500 mg, branded as Bufferin (buffered Aspirin). NDC 0067-2065. Sounds like they were being stored in the wrong bottle. ## Sounds like they are Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen (Pain Pills) ## Sounds like Vicodin to me

where in albq m can i find ascriptin ## Hi Bill, From what I can tell, ascriptin is simply "buffered aspirin", and appears to be readily available over the counter as well as on the internet through a number of various retailers. So I don't see why you'd have any problem finding it at your local Walgreens, etc... other than the possibility of it being under a different brand name such as "Bufferin" instead of "Ascriptin" - though both are basically the same thing. Have you gone around to any pharmacies to check whether they have it in stock?

yellow hard pill wiyh the numbersan 513 ## Took my first dose of salsalate, "513" 750. It was prescribed for back pain. I then proceeded to have abdominal pain with back pain. Dry heaving, nothing in my stomach. Did not sleep due to pain. I spent the next day on the couch or in bed, I felt like I had the flu, exhausted, with body aches. Today I am more or less normal just a mild back tension. I will never take Salsalate again. I was better on over the counter 1,000 miligram Bufferin. ## supposed to take it WITH FOOD... ## Yes, the tablet with the AN 513 marking contains 750mgs of Salsalate, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.
