Gegen meiner Parkinsonkrankheit nehme ich neuerdings AZILECT 1mg zusätzlich 1 mal täglich zu meiner bisherigen Medikation die da wäre : Alle 3 hrs. Stalevo 250 mg , Sifrol 0,35mg und im Falle einer schnellen Hilfe bei Bedarf Madopar LT afgelöst in Wasser zum trinken . trotzalledem geht es mir zunehmend schlechter , d.h. krumme Haltug , schlurfender Gang und Krämpfe in den Oberschenkel .Meine Frage ist diese Medikamentierung richtig ?

I was told by one Dr. that trepiline is very bad for your heart, today I was told my neorologist should never have given me Trepiline together with Azilect 1mg as it is very dangerous. Please tell my why. I have parkinsons and I am a 35 year old female ## It is actually the combination of the two that can be dangerous for your heart, as well as a lot of other biological processes, not necessarily either one by itself. Your neurologist was correct, there are many severe warnings about using these two medications together. I take 600mg of gabapentin 3times daily for essential tremor. If I wait too long between doses I become confused dizzy and very tired. Also need to take upon rising in the AM. I Also have parkinsons but meds are not supposed to conflict.(azilect). Gabapentin works great for tremor but scary if I miss a dose. Any one else? ## Autocorrect has to be the most fun invention EVER!! It has certainly made life much more interesting. It's unusual to have a reaction that soon upon missing a dose. Learn more Gabapentin details here. However, since it is happening, what I'd suggest is your setting up some type of reminder system to avoid missing doses. I use an app on my iPhone that beeps whenever I need to take my next dose of medications, but even leaving yourself notes around the house could work. Have you tried any reminder methods?
