Can Atripla be take with Osteo BI-Flex is it safe ## Hi Linda, I don't see any information stating that Atripla has drug interactions with Osteo Bi-Flex. With that said, you SHOULD be okay to take them both. As with any medications, you should always pay attention to how your body is affected and promptly report any issues to your doctor. I hope this helps and good luck!

I have been on Altosec 20mg for my refluxes and have recently been diagnosed as hiv positive. I am on Atripla for a few days. May i still take my Altosec 20mg? ## Can i take Atripla with a laxative? ## Peter, from what I am seeing on the UCLA Health website, there are possible interactions between these drugs, but they are listed as "low" severity. You will want to check with your doctor of pharmacist to confirm that it is safe for you to take them together. "Omeprazole 20mg Oral disintegrating tablet and Efavirenz ... Severity: low ... Efavirenz inhibits and CYP2C19 and may inhibit the metabolism of omeprazole since it is a substrate for CYP2C19. Atripla 600mg-200mg-300mg Tablet and Omeprazole ... Severity: low ... I would like to know symptoms and side effects of taking Chantix with the HIV medicine Atripla; both have a lot of psychological side effect warnings and I want to know if it's worth the risk to take both of these together or not... ## I do not know the effects of taking these drugs together. However, I can tell you 1st hand that Chantix -in myself and 2 others I know personally- was a Rx for personal and friendship relationship disasters. IMO they should change the name to "Antix" b/c of the way it will turn a loving individual into a unreasonable hateful being. We stopped ch-Antix and used the e-cig system to stop smoking and still keep friends... ## I did not find any problems, or interactions listed, but there is no way to say how any given medication may affect any pers...

I was just diagnosed as hiv positive and went to an HIV specialist who has prescribed Atripla. My viral load was high and cd4 count at something like 220k. I have had some side affects, but not too intolerable. I am dizzy in the am. Can I expect more side effects or would I have had them by now. ## 2 weeks on Atripla now, and I have not experienced the weird dreams that I was warned about. I do get a bit dizzy but since I take the pill at night, that does not matter - in fact it's a relaxing high. In a couple of days I will get my next blood test, and I'm hoping that the T's and viral load will be going in the right direction! I'm almost apprehensive, because I have not experienced any of the dire side effects that I have read about. ## Medications can affect everyone di...

Every time I take my daily Genvoya (just started on it after switching from Atripla) about 3 months ago, I start to smell a strange scent. It doesn't smell bad, sort of sweet, sort of like plugging in one of those strong Airwick plug-ins... I know - sounds strange. I take the medicine with supper at night, and I get the smell all evening and during the night. But by the morning, the scent has pretty much disappeared, only to be completely gone by Noon. But then it starts all over again later in the day when i take the next dosage. Anyone else have this issue? I know it is minor, but just curious if this is common. My doctor doesn't have a clue, as usual on these types of symptoms.. ## That can be a side effect of most medications, they can mess with your sense of smell, and tast...
