my primary dr prescirbed the "butal acet caff" one in Dec 2013 & then my nuerologist said it had aspirin in it so she gave me the "butalbital apap caffeine" today jan 2014 I take coumadin & my blood work has been messed up since dec. anyone know what is the difference between them ## There is no difference between the two you listed, APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen, which is what the acet stands for, not Aspirin as the neurologist thought. As to your blood work, what do you mean by messed up? Is your INR fluctuating greatly? ## I have had 3 cervical fusions for a farm injury that resulted in chronic Migraines. The Butalbital with aspirin (ASA) works exponentially better for me than version with acetaminophen.

Yes, since the Codeine is a narcotic opiate, it may cause drowsiness and no, they should not be combined with the Lortab, since it contains Hydrocodone, which is another narcotic and Acetaminophen. And I wouldn't suggest taking them, if you have to go to work, until you see how they affect you, since they may also cause dizziness and nausea, in addition to the drowsiness. My friend use to take Percocet's all of the time and claimed that she is not taking them anymore.
