I was on Amaryl 2, Metformin 500. As there was no relief I was given Janumet and afterwards Januvia 100. After use of 1 yr + I was given one Ty..... (said to be a product of Japanese research and less costly - but there was no relief), Hb1c is now 8.5. So again back to Januvia 50 x 2. But apparently there is no palpable result. I do also take Rosuvastatin 20, Clopidogrel 75, Aspirin 150, Sertaline 100, Gabapin NT, Neurofit 12, Ifin,... I have acute lower backaches and my waist often gets locked. And severe breathing trouble (for which I use a Foracort inhaler).

Has anyone taking fetzima had anxiety when adding amaryl 2 mg. ## Hello, Missy! How are you? The anxiety could be caused by the blood sugar change that Amaryl can cause. It is an oral antidiabetic medication and that can be one of the symptoms of low blood sugar. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, flatulence and stomach pain. Fetzima may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, vision changes, loss of libido and increased sweating. Have you consulted your doctor about the issue?

I take amryl 2mg before breakfast and glycomet SR 500 after breakfast and before dinner also. Is it right way of taking? ## Amaryl contains the active ingredient Glimepiride and Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin, both are oral antidiabetic medications used to help control blood sugar. And yes, they are usually taken at mealtime, unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, since that is when most blood sugar spikes occur. Is using them this way keeping your sugar under control? ## I am 68 male. So far I was taking Glimet DS 500 after meal. My fasting sugar was 114. PP was 145. My friend suggested Glycomet 500 instead of Glimet DS 500. After 10 days my fasting sugar has gone up to 150 and PP is 197. Why this and how to solve?

Pease suggest if there would be any side effects of the above. He feels weak & his bp remains 100/80 to 90/70. ## I am not a doctor, but I can provide you with some information. The reason he is feeling weak could be due to his blood pressure being so low, when it's hitting 90/70 this can be too low for some people and can cause symptoms such as feeling weak, dizzy and tired. While most doctors will tell you the lower your blood pressure the better, this is not completely accurate. There are points where it can be too low and will cause those kinds of symptoms. In ...

Please clarify ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, that is just the nature of how it works, when you add a chemical to the body to try to rectify a problem. However, if you do not take the prescribed medications, high blood sugar can be deadly, so there is far less risk to dealing with the possible side effects. The U.S. FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, and hypoglycemia. Is there anything else I can help with?
