I am allergic to dyes and it is so difficult to find pm pain relief ## Hello, Vickie! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. The PM pain relief formulas only contain the relevant medication, such as Acetaminophen (Tylenol PM), Ibuprofen (Advil PM) or Naproxen (Aleve PM) accompanied with Diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Thus, if your doctor approves, you could most likely find dye free versions of both of them and just take them separately. I know that many Acetaminophen tablets are available as just white tablets with no dyes, plus Benadryl has a dye free formulation available specifically for people with such allergies. The FDA lists the typical side effects of these medications as possibly include dizziness, drowsiness, nausea and stomach irritation. Is there ...

Where can I buy ALEVE PM?? I am unable to locate it in the Alabama ared. I talked to Bayer customer service and was informed they do not make a PM pill. ## Based on my research, Aleve PM is not on the market as of writing this; only Advil PM in that regard. The manufacturer's website also verifies this on their product page. Have you considered trying Advil PM (diphenhydramine + ibuprofen)? You can learn more about this drug on the pages for Diphenhydramine Details and Ibuprofen Details I hope this info helps!

I'm taking meloxicam 7.5 mg and I have no refills. I'm having problems with night pain and wanted to take Aleve PM. I took the last Meloxicam about 12 hours ago. Could I take Aleve PM or do I need to wait for the Meloxicam to leave my system completely? ## Hello, Liz! How are you? They are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, so unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you can usually just switch smoothly from one to the other. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. With the added ingredient in the Aleve PM, you may also experience dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I only sleep an hour or so, then I'm up with just the ropinirole and was just wondering if I could take aleve pm with it? ## What happens if you take aleve pm with ropinirole. Does it have the adverse effect ## Hello circlebv, According to the NIH there is a moderate interaction between ropinirole and aleve pm. The reaction is an increase of the side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. The interaction itself is not dangerous but the results can increase the danger levels of situations you find yourself in such as not being able to drive yourself int he event of an emergency and also not being able to concentrate and injuring yourself. While the NIH does not state this as a severe interaction I strongly suggest that you discuss mixing these...

I take one Advil PM almost every night to sleep. I also take an Aleve gel ievery morning for aches and pains, because I find that the Aleve Gel works better for my aches ## They really shouldn't be combined, since they both contain NSAIDs, the Ibuprofen in the Advil PM and the Naproxen in the Aleve. However, it really depends o how close together you are taking them. If they are being taken 8 to 10 hours apart, then there really shouldn't be any severe problems. Both of them can irritate your stomach, though, so you may experience some problems with that, but that would also result if you were just taking one of them and not 2 different ones. Are there any other comments or questions? ## So I took an alieve at like 7:30 and I want to take a Advil PM and its 8:30 is that a problem?

If excedrin pm and aleve are combined, what happens ## It depends on the amount that is combined. Large amounts of it could cause severe organ damage and/or a fatal overdose. However, a normal dose will usually just result in upset stomach, headache, vomiting and stomach irritation. You may also get really drowsy and dizzy. In general, they really shouldn't be combined, because you are combining medications that all do the same things, so it isn't necessary. The Excedrin PM contains Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine: and the Aleve contains Naproxen: Also, combining them regularly can result in organ damage, or stomach conditions such as ulcers and gastritis. Have you been combining them? ## I accidently took 2 advil pm's and then 1 hour leter took 2 aleves ## I got confused ...

How often can it be taken? My RX says once a day. Is it ok to take 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM? ## I take 15mg meloxicam in the morning and it seems to do ok, but by bed time I have pain and can't sleep. Could I take one Aleve? ## Is 2 aleve twice a day equal to one 15mg melodic am? It does not seem to last 24 hours. ## I have arthritis in my hip and was given a cortisone shot 2 months ago. As it has worn off the pain is gradually returning. I was prescribed meloxicam but started pain management with first Tylenol and am back to Aleve. My last dose was 1 day ago and wonder if it is now ok to try the meloxicam? I want to make sure the Aleve is out of my system. ## I accidentally took three ibuprofen and one 15 mg of meloxicam at the same time. I realized this after I had swallowed th...

found this in my teenage neice's room ## Sorry, if there is no imprint then it must be something over the counter. All prescription drugs in the United States are required by law to have an imprint on the tablets, so they can be identified according to drug, dosage and manufacturer. With no markings there is no way to know for sure what it is, it could be a generic for Tylenol PM, Advil PM, Aleve or anything else for that matter. ## I have located a supply of totally unmarked football shaped pills in my good friend's room; I have no knowledge of him taking any prescription meds and I would know if he were. They were in an old prescription bottle with the label ripped off (probably not even the original container). These pills look exactly like the little blue football Xanax pill...

found a medium blue oblong caplet pill (reminds me of a tylenol) has no imprints or markings on it. Any ideas what it could be? ## long blue caplet could be naproxen ## Yes, there are several possibilities, but without any markings, they are all really just guesses. It could be Naproxen, a generic or store brand of Aleve, as was stated. Learn more Naproxen details here. There's also a chance that it may be a generic or store brand for Tylenol PM (Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine) or Advil PM (Ibuprofen and Diphenhydramine). Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. Taking robitussin, nyquil, extra-strength aleve, sudafed, sudafed pm, cold/flu alka-seltzer, aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen, norco, afrin, albuterol sulfate inhalant, Ipratopium bromide and albuterol sulfate inhalant, and afrin. Would any of these cause a false positive for amphetamine/methamphetamine? And if so, on what type of drug test(s)?

I just spoke with a pharmacist gave him a list of the meds I have been taking : morphine 30mg, diovan, hydrochlorothizide, valsartan, hydrocodone 10/325, bisopropolol, sudogest, pseudoephederine, aleve, pain reliever pm. He says none of these will cause false positive urine test results for methamphetamine although I keep testing positive and I have not used any of that stuff! Can you tell me why this is happening cause my po is going to throw me in jail. I really need help with this please ## Since you took sudafed, that could have caused it. Sudafed is used as an ingredient in methamphetamine. That's why you have to give them your ID just to buy it. Request a more detailed test, and it will show that an otc drug caused it to pop up as positive.

I am seeing a new doctor, she prescribed me 7.5mg norco... I have a bad sinus infection and my Dr gave me augmentin for it... The norco isn't helping. I have blockages in my legs and my back is in very bad shape. So anyway my husband gave me 1 of his percocet and it really helped me, but tomorrow I go back and she does a drug test every time i go. What I'm wondering is, will the antibiotics that I have been taking, cause that percocet not to show up? I am also on clonazepam and I take aleve pm at night as well. Thanks y'all.. Please help.. I shouldn't have took that...
