a bottle tape up and marking of GPI A5 info what is it ## This is Acetaminophen, it is hard to saw which dosage, as the company that manufactures them, Gemini, uses the same logo on all of their Acetaminophen tablets, and they make several dosages, including a Childrens 80mg, a regular strength 325mg and an extra strength 500mg, but either way, it is Acetaminophen in an over the counter dosage, not a prescription nor anything dangerous. You do run into this some times, since OTC items are not regulated and required to have unique markings on each pill and dosage like prescription meds are required to have. ## what is this pill GPI A5 ? what it for pain?

how many mg of oxycodone in a acetaminophen 325 ## Acetaminophen and Oxycodone are two different drugs; therefore the dosage of Acetaminophen does not reflect the dosage of Oxycodone. However in some preparations and combination drugs, such as Percocet, 325mgs of Acetaminophen may be combined with 5-10mgs of Oxycodone for an additive effect on pain relief. I hope this helps to answer your question!

what exactly is acetaminophen 1000 mg?? what does it do?? I got a prescription and what is all in it? ## Hi April, Acetaminophen, also referred to as Paracetamol, is classified as a mild analgesic. It is commonly used for the relief of headaches and other minor aches and pains and is a major ingredient in numerous cold and flu remedies. In combination with opioid analgesics, paracetamol can also be used in the management of more severe pain such as post-surgical pain and providing palliative care in advanced cancer patients.Though acetaminophen is used to treat inflammatory pain, it is not generally classified as an NSAID because it exhibits only weak anti-inflammatory activity. The onset of analgesia is approximately 11 minutes after oral administration of paracetamol, and its half-lif...

How can you tell if acetaminophen is a rx or just otc? Is the dosage a clue? ## Based on my own research I found that Acetaminophen (also known as Paracetamol) is an ingredient contained in many OTC and prescription medicines. For the most part, Acetaminophen would be found in typical OTC drugs such as, Benadryl, Tylenol, Theraflu, and many more medications along similar lines intended for normal colds, flu, and other minor to moderate pain. As for Acetaminophen in Rx, I found it to be similar dosages, but I believe the main difference is what drug they combined with Acetaminophen to give it a stronger effect. For example, I saw Acetaminophen used in conjunction with Oxycodone, Codeine, Hydrocodone, and other serious drugs intended to be for a more serious matter. But those are Rx of co...

I have severe and chronic skeletal pain. Have been taking Tramadol 50mg. the Acetaminophen has caused painful liver symptoms. Is there a pain medication that DO NOT have acetaminophen? ## Hello, Audrey! How are you? What have you been taking exactly? If it's just Tramadol 50mgs, then there is no Acetaminophen in it. If it contains Acetaminophen, then there should be a second dosage listed. That said, there are many options available that do not contain Acetaminophen, including Tramadol by itself, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Oxymorphone and Morphine. The FDA classifies these mediations as being narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzies, headache, constipation and dry mouth.

im 6ft8in 269lbs i took 15 Code 300 30 for my back and i dont feel any thing but will i overdose ## Yes, I would advise you contact a doctor and tell them what you took and how many. Even if it is several days later, now and you seem to feel fine. If you didn't suffer a problem from the central nervous system depression caused by taking 450mgs of the Codeine, you could still have done severe damage to your organs from the 4,500mgs of Acetaminophen. It is actually toxic in doses over 4,000mgs a day. Thus, it is very important that you see a doctor and have some tests done. How are you doing? ## thank you i will go see a doctor today
