Substituted for DARVOCET-N 100 TAB. Was prescribed for side stomach pain, but it made me very drowzy. What exactly is this pill for? ## This is a generic for Darvocet, the APAP is simply medical speak for 650mgs of Acetaminophen and the other ingredient is 100mgs of Propoxyphene. THIS IS A MILD NARCOTIC pain reliever, so that is my guess as to why it made you so drowsy, that is a very normal side effect. Others that you might experience include: nausea, dry mouth and constipation.
