PLEASE SEND ME INFO ON THIS DRUG .THANKS ## I was taking this 6 months ago, but it was a round pill that said 80 mgs...i took half a pill a night (so...40 mgs). My doctor renewed my Rx but it is oval and bigger and says 800-160. I have a number of pills that have 8001 or 1008 written on them. They are blue. I was told they are Percocet 5/325, is that true? ## the pill is a light blue color, also round and it has 8001/8001 on one side and nothing on the other and ive tried to look for it but it isnt coming up ## This tablet is manufactured by Contract Pharmacal and they list it as containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, which is a generic for Benadryl, it is used to treat allergic reactions, and as a sleep aid. Can't raise my arm in the past I have had reaction from other meds ## It isn't a listed common side effect, but if you are having a bad reaction to it, then yes, it can happen. Hi I started taking sulfamethy trimethoprim 800160 tabs yesterday eveing for a cyst in the not long before I got a real bad headache this morning I was fine but as soon as I drink it an hr or past an my headache came back ## Hi, Jane! Very sorry about the headaches. It could be from this antibiotic, since it is sulfa based, it has been known to cause some very odd side effects in some people that take it. I have copd and have developed bronchitis over the last week or so. I am allergic to penicillin. My doctor believes the bronchitis is bacterial and has prescribed a medication that the prescription insert says "May cause serious lung problems. Tell your doctor if you develop a cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain" all of which I have with copd and bronchitis. He also prescribed 5 days of prednisone and a pro air inhaler. What would be the best antibiotic given this information. (The medication is sulfameth/trimethoprim 800160mg TB.) ## There are risks associated with all medications and that warning is usually included with most antibiotics, due to the possibility of hypersensitivity reactions, thus, I really don't know what I could suggest that might be safer for you. ...

Allergic to penicillin does Azitromicina contain any? ## Hi alton, Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It does NOT contain any Penicillin, nor is it related to Penicillin. Azithromycin is actually a derivative of Erythromycin, so as long as you aren't allergic to Erythromycin as well, it seems to me that you shouldn't have any problems. It does tend to cause some fluid loss, so yes, you may urinate frequently, be sure to take in enough fluids each day to prevent dehydration. Is there anything else I can help with?

very very nauseated all day and night cannot eat but force myself so i can take this med ## Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim, the active ingredients in Bactrim, is an antibiotic and it can cause nausea as a side effect. Have you consulted your doctor? If the nausea is that severe, it may not be the right medication for you and you may need to try something else.

I began taking this medication on Tuesday. I understand it is the generic versions of Bactrim. I immediately felt a relief in the congestion and went on to take the 2nd and 3rd dose on Wednesday. While sleeping, I awoke with cramps up and down my thighs and calf. To say the least, that was a sleepless night. I telephoned my doctor the next day, on Thursday, to question with this could be a side affect of the drug. He did not believe so. By mid-day on Thursday, I could not stand in one spot for more than a minute. My legs and feet began to ache and forced me to sit. I have been in excrutiating pain. I returned to my Doctor on Friday and he suggested I stop the medication. I went directly to the Emergency to get a blood analysis. Everything came back fine. Again the doctor in the hospital...
