Can I take half of one as I have never taken a painkiller before....I had a tooth pulled ## Hi Jorden, I haven't found any medication by the name of "Nophen"... Did you mean to say "Norco"? Norco is available in dosages of 5/325 (hydrodocone + acetaminophen) for moderate to severe pain relief. And to answer your question. This type of pill is ok to break in half, since it's not time-released. I believe there's also a score line dividing the pill for such purposes if I'm not mistaken? Hope this helps!

White capslue Pill 303 325 hour glass ## Hi, Kim! Where did you find it? The hourglass logo is used by Ivax Pharmaceuticals, but I am not finding a listing for this anywhere, so I'm wondering if it may be an older medication that is no longer being manufactured. Hello, I had surgery to get a tumor removed from the abdomen and when I got out of the hospital the doctor prescribed to me hydroco/acetaminop 5 325 mg for pain. At first it was 2 pills every 6 hours and then my second refill he changed the orders to 1 pill every 4 hours. My question is, is there a reason for that? ## Hello, Joeyboy! How are you? Yes, there is a reason, because once you've been healing for a bit, your pain shouldn't be as bad, so you shouldn't need as much of the narcotic. Plus it also helps prevent addiction and they'll be easier to stop at a lower dose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
