A friend of mine told me her pharmacy told her they were going to be only getting the small round generic subutex tablets. I have always gotten the big ones. I do not like the small ones, I don't abuse them. So has anyone else heard that they are going to quit making the round generic 54 411 suburex ?? ## @lifesaver, There haven't been any official announcements from the FDA or drug companies regarding the discontinuation of this pill. So I'm not sure where your friend heard this information, but it's possible that it may not be public news yet if she recently got these details in advance from someone within the company. The manufacturer of this specific pill is Roxane Laboratories, Inc. I would suggest contacting them directly for a more accurate answer on what their fu...

What is the main differences between ( M 924 ) and (54 411) BUPRENORPHIN will some Buddy please tell me I would ask the pharmacy but they are closed and I just realized that my script has changed the pill type ## Since this medication is available as a generic, it is manufactured by several different companies to help create market competition to try to keep prices as low as possible. Whichever one your pharmacy has in stock may vary, depending on which company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. And that is the only difference here, you've just received pills from a different manufacturer. The one with the M 924 marking is listed by the FDA as being manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and the one with the 54 411 marking is listed as b...

I have run out of options with "pain pills" have been inquiring about subutex as a pain reliever for chronic pain due to a spinal injury. Ive been on just about every pain pill there is and they just don't seem to have enough "power" to keep my pain level at a acceptable position. I have an 8mg subutex.ive been on suboxone for ten months and now im out of meds. Will this subutex replace the suboxone as the same,or is it different. ## The difference between the two is that the Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the latter is used to neutralize other opiates and prevent their abuse, while someone is under treatment with it. The Subutex, however, only contains the narcotic Buprenorphine. Have you talked to your doctor for assistance?

Has anyone ever taken or hear about a peach/orange covered, oval subutex with the inscription 54 411 on it? .. I can't find these particular ones online anywhere but I believe theyre brand new and I was also wondering what milligram they are? ## The last time I filled my script that's what they were, Orange, oval, 8mg bupenorphen. ## Hi Challen, These orange oval tablets must be fairly new, as per my research, 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride with an imprint of 54 411 is still identified as being white and round. On the other hand, 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride has also been made available in an orange oval tablet with 153 on one side and an Actavis half moon logo on the other. These are somewhat new as well, so not to be mistaken for the other orange oval tablet that you'r...

Does the Buprenorphine 8mg 460 work as well as 54 411's? I'm curious as I've seen other imprints, just not 460. Please let me know if they are better or worse. ## BETTER. The only thing is they taste a tad worse. I use 1mg a day and these are slightly smaller and worker slightly better in my opinion. ## Among other influential factors, some people may respond better or worse to the different binders/fillers upon switching from one tablet to the next. That said, the only true way to compare efficacy is to go through trial and error with both versions yourself and not solely based off someone else's feedback. Inactive ingredients in the 460 pill are: Lactose Monohydrate, Mannitol, Povidones, Anhydrous Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Butylated Hydroxyanisole, Magnesium Stearat...

It is used to replace Suboxone in pregnant woman or in people that may be allergic to Naloxone. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. Are there any questions or comments? ## My friend got these pills and they are supposed to be suboxone. They are round and white. One side has 155 and the other side is a moon shape. How soon can I take subutex after taking hydrocodone? ## Hello, Becky! How are you? You have to be in full withdrawal, before you can safely take Subutex. Taking it too soon may cause you to go into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addition, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thats not true. You don't have to be in full withdrawal for Subutex. Suboxone is the one u have to wait for to take. Subutex does not have the blocker (Naloxone) in it. So you can take it before u feel like s*** ## I think there is some truth to what Verwon said, though indivi...

54 but they are broke in half. Its not smooth on the other side there is a line right threw the middle of the opposite side. What is this, please help ## Hi Dan, From your description the closest match I'm seeing online is a white round pill marked with 54 111 on one side and scored on the other. It contains 250mgs of Mefloquine; which is used to prevent and treat malaria. Had there been no score line I would've thought this to be a generic Subutex tablet, since it shares the same imprint 54 411. But if you could double check the "4" to make sure it's not a "1" that would confirm whether or not Mefloquine is a prime suspect. One thing is for sure though, and that is that the manufacturer of both of these pills starting with 54 and followed by three digits is ...

I found Subutex in my daughter's room with a needle. Do people really IV this? Why do people take it that dont need it? ## The pill in description is Buprenorphine hydrochloride (subutex) 8 mg. It is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages (>2mg) and to control moderate pain in non-opioid tolerant individuals in lower dosages (~200 mg). Yes, Subutex can be administered intravenously. This is a very addictive drug that gives off a euphoric rush similar to other opioids in addition to a slight "upper"-like effect. ## Hello, administering these intravenously is very dangerous so please take them from her and tell her she is messing with her life, i am only 24 and have never used a needle but have had drug problems all my life since i...

I'm trying to stop using H and I have the 54 411, round, white, subutex pills. Do I have to wait 24 hours from my last usage to take one or can I take it right away? I don't want to get withdrawal symptoms from taking it too soon. But I don't want to wait 24 hours because I start feeling sick much sooner than that. ## Hello, Timetoquit! How are you? This is an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, a generic for Subutex and since this does not contain the Naloxone that is used in Suboxone to neutralize other opiates, you do not have to be in full withdrawal to start this one, it shouldn't throw you into precipitated withdrawals. Thus, you should take it according to your doctor's instructions. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming an...

round white pill 54 411 on one side and the other blank ## its an 8mg generic subutex, same as suboxone ## This is a Generic Subutex OPIOD pill used to treat opiod dependence as in heroin addicts, etc. Sort of like Methadone. These pills are very very new as generics and hard to find, they were released by roxane pharmacuticals on october 9th of 2009. Is there a opiate blocker in white pill 54 411?? ## Hello, Chad! How are you? No, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine. However, it does tend to take a strong hold on the opiate receptors and can still block others from working. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been going to a clinic for almost a year now and each time I get prescribed 8mg Subutex. When I would fill my prescription I would receive 54 411 white tablets. Today when I picked it up I got M 924 white tablets. The only difference I've found is the manufacturer. The manufacturer for the 54 411 is ROXANE and for the M 924 is MYLAN. I'm from Savannah, GA and cannot find a pharmacy that has the 54 411 subutex. I had one pharmacy but the past few times I've been there they have been out. I can only do the big white ones, (but prefer the 54 411's), not the little ones. Does anyone know what pharmacies have them around here? Thanks. ## Unfortunately, there is no way to know which pharmacy carries any given product from any manufacturer, since it can vary depending on who was offering the cheapest price through their distributor, at the time they needed to restock their supply. Thus, the only thing you can really do is keep checking back with various pharmacies, there might be one that can order it for you. What problem do you have with the other ones? Subutex is an opioid, so it carries the risk of being ha...
