My generic lorcet {Watson 503} have always been pale green. My refill, which is the same medication {strength, shape and mfg.}, but they are white and I believe they had a different imprint. For years I've been legitimately prescribed this medication for pain managment after a Cage was put in my lower back due to degenerative disc disease~surgery was unsucessful for pain relief. Thank You in advance for any information...Peace ## Without knowing the imprint on them, I can't check them for you, to see if they are the same medication or not. However, what I can tell you is that it may be just the color that has changed. Watson has recently begun removing the dye from some of their tablets, due to the fact that it was causing sensitivities in some people and there were some who wer...

I'm young an have to take these white hydrocodone pills (two at a time) I'm scared I will be " messed up " like all my friends are saying? I need help.. ## Hi, True! How are you? What do you mean by saying that you 'have' to take them? Even if your doctor has prescribed them, that doesn't mean that you are obligated to take them, that decision is ultimately up to you. And I am also not sure what you mean by 'messed up'? Could you please post back and clarify? Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?

white 503 ## Watson 503 contains Acetaminophen 650mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs, this is a generic for Lorcet, a potent narcotic pain reliever. ## They don't make them like they use to cuz Watson is a sell out and now Watsons pills suck. The colored ones r better. ## If pain pills are addictive so what. If a person is in so much pain like myself they will be taking them the rest of their lives anyway. I was taking 200 mlg of morphine twice a day plus oxy 30's eight times a day and the quality of my life was never better

light green and oblong in shape ## I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS WAS THE SAME AS 503 ## Watson 503 is a generic for the narcotic analgesic Lorcet, it contains Acetaminophen 650mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs. Unfortunately, I cannot find any listing in the US prescription drug databases for a Watson 509. ## Have been using the Watson green 503 for severe back pain for a long time, with great results. It really relieved my back pain. The company has changed the formula and the 503 is now white in color. It is no more than taking a vitamin-can't tell that my back pain is relieved at all. Please go back to the old formula like the light green was.

football shape, top yellow, bottom white ## watson 530 ## Hi Paul, Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Meclizine HCl (25 mg). The only difference is that the imprint is 803 instead of 503. Manufacturer: Watson Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 00591-0803 Meclizine is effective in inhibiting the symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Meclizine Details If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.

Are Watson 503 still available at Pharmacies in the US? ## No, they are no longer available here. All combination prescription products have been changed to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose and this one contained 650mgs with the 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

They were green before the change to white ## Hi Liz, How have the white tablets been working for you in comparison to the green ones you were originally taking? Only asking because I've heard a lot of rumors stating that, although the color appears to be the only difference, the white one's tend to be much much weaker. Do you also find this to be true? It may also be important to know that Watson was recently taken over by what is now known as Actavis Pharma. I think it's a mere speculation at this point, but the change in ownership may have resulted in a change in formula as well, to help cut costs. A series of lab tests could probably reveal the true cause behind the differences in strength and overall efficacy of these new white tablets that others are complaining about....

Where did you get it? It is most likely the same as the pink one, which contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. Watson has recently been removing the dyes from their tablets, since they were receiving many complaints from people that were sensitive to the coloring agents or allergic to them. They've been gradually changing them all to just being white tablets. You should double check with your pharmacist to be certain. Learn more Vicodin details here.
