Day 17 no oxy, detoxed without sub. Valium, clonidine , robaxin and a few others. When will I be normal again. I am good in the morning, by 1pm I am a jack ass and my legs hurt and everything pisses me off. can't crack a smile to save my life. ## So, you just stopped the Oxycodone, without tapering? That's pretty high of a dosage to do that with, even though you were only on it for four months. And to be honest, it may take 4 to 6 weeks, before you start to feel more normal and have less of those annoying symptoms. From my own experience stopping large doses of narcotics cold turkey after stopping pain management, I can tell you that it was about a month for the pain to ease up and about 6 to 8 weeks for the mental symptoms, such as irritability to ease off. Is it the only medic...

How are you? That is so awesome! So many people with type 2 have trouble losing weight, when they need to do so. Are you experiencing any of the side effects that the FDA lists, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea and hypoglycemia? Why do you skip breakfast? That's not good for most diabetics.

Have been taking Multaq for six months now . It has not stopped my afib, but has kept it at a rate that I can deal with. My pulse does not get as high as it has in the past, sending me to the hospital .The episodes have not lasted as long as before the Multaq.! I also was taking Xarelto. Did not tolerate Pradaxa. Now after the second time on Zarelto I have again had blood in urine. After stopping the Zarelto , the blood in urine has ceased. ## The Xarelto contains the active ingredient Rivaroxaban, which is an anticoagulant that helps prevent blood clotting, so it does increase the risk of bleeding. Learn more Xarelto details here. So, that's likely why you had blood in your urine. It may just not be the right medication for you, since it could be that it's causing your blood to...

After the first 3 months it seemed to be starting to help clear the nail at the base. I was happy because this treatment was not causing me painful ingrown toenails like the Keridyn did. Unfortunately, 6 months into this treatment, the skin around my nails are now having massive irritation, redness, drying, cracking, peeling and bleeding. This happened to me when I used Keridyn after 8 months and I had to stop using it. I am so dissappointed, I'll probably have to stop this too, it's getting too painful. Some other site I just read said a girl used neem oil and it worked for her. Guess I'll have to try that next. I've tried everything over the counter with no luck. Others have said that the laser treatment only works temporarily and I'm not taking that pill that kill...

Hi! My son is 3 months old. He is suffering from cough for a week. His pedia prescribed Alnix 0.5ml 2 times a day. I accidentally gave him 3 times (6 hours interval). What will be the effect of that? Thank you. ## Hello, MommyK! How is your son? Did he suffer any ill effects? I really can't stress enough how important it is to seek medical attention immediately any time you feel that someone's life or health may be in danger. While there are those of us on these websites that are always happy to help, if we can, there is nothing we can do if someone needs life saving treatment.

I started taking Coveram last December 2017 and after 1 week i developed cough which I find very disturbing. The effect of it was exemplary and just maintained my BP but the cough is really my concern. Just this March, my follow up check up, I talked to my Doctor and raised my concern regarding the cough. He changed my anti hypertensive medications to Twynsta. Until now my cough does not go away. What can be the possible reason for this? I am taking Vitamin C daily and maintained my hydration. Please help. ## Coeram contains Perindopril and Amlodipine, and Twynsta contains Telmisartan and Amlodipine, and according to NIH reports, the Amlodipine is notorious for causing a dry cough as a side effect. The problem is that once that cough starts, it usually doesn't go away, so my best gu...

Hi! I've been taking minastrin 24e for the past 4 months or so now. I started getting a normal period and then a light one last month but I didn't get any period at all this month. I didn't take my sugar pills because I was told by my gyno I didn't need to so not sure if that has antything to do with it. I take my pills usually in the morning but not perfectly at the same time every day. And this past month I missed one pill so I simply took two in the morning the next day. My boyfriend and I do not use condoms but he does pull out. Is my missed period normal or could it be pregnancy? I've started my new pack for the month so I want to check. The only pregnancy type symptom I've experienced is having to go to the bathroom a lot but that has been an ongoing proble...

I have been takin percocet 5-325 for 2 months as directed. Have not abused at all. I originally was taking for pain following a breast reduction. After that pain seemed to cease, I continued taking as I noticed the percocets helped with my chronic tendonitis in my thumbs. Anyway, I am down to 2 pills, will I go through withdrawal ? Again, only took as directed for 2 months, and sometimes not more that 4 pills a day. I'm leaving town tomorrow to take care of my Mom after she has major surgery. I'm worried now that I will have withdrawal symptoms and not be of any help to her!! ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? You may experience some minor withdrawal effects, such as nausea, dizziness, chills and diarrhea, but they shouldn't be severe and debilitating. Since you were also on them ...

I have been on meds for two months and half no results, and I excerise, no results still….Am I doing something wrong . Do this med really affect your LIVER? ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Do you also watch your diet? It could be that this medication just doesn't work for you. Not all medications work for everyone that tries them. Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to try a different medication, such as Belviq. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, anorexia, anxiety and bladder pain.

I have been taking Lomedia 24fe for 6 months, have never missed a pill and take at same time every day. I always had a light period before taking the pill and had spotting when taking the brown pills for the first 4 months but have not had a period the past two months. Is it normal to stop having a period while taking Lomedia 24fe? Pregancy tests are negative. ## I've also been exactly on lomedia for 6 months. This month I didn't get a period, haven't missed a pill at all. I'll be taking a pregnancy test, though I have no signs of pregnancy. It's kind of freaking me out too! ## Hello, Annabelle and Suzanne! How are both of you ladies? Yes, some women don't have periods, when taking oral contraceptives. I am going crazy. I have never felt right on this. I was 24 weeks on Harvoni, and had been bedridden since then due to my liver, back issues, pain, headaches, chest discomfort, unable to swallow, see clearly, and have nausea constantly. ## Those can be typical side effects of this medication according to the FDA. You may also experience dizziness and stomach pain. Have you finished your course of treatment, yet? Are you on any other medications? ## Harvoni has also caused my immune system to go completely insane. I was healthier when I had hep c. Also, just because some people have good results from this drug (no side effects for instance) it is very bad logic to assume this to be true for all takers of the drug. More importantly, it does not mean it is a SAFE drug for all. I warn anyon...

I've had jadelle in for almost a year bow and haven't had a period for 8 months. I did a test about 4 months ago and it was negative. I haven't gained weight so I'm sure I'm not pregnant. I am 9 months out of L3-S1 fusion and ligament repair, still unable to work and still suffering from the side effects of "F" word as i call it and oxycodone and neurontin. The combo of all of them make me nuts. I am hoping to taper in May but my doctor made no mention of tapering until i did. I am concerned that they knoe i am not going to get better so they are not concerned. However, i don't k ow that i am improving any more. I improved until end of Feb. And then i started having more pain, the pain in my legs and hip came back and numbness in feet. I am convinced i have permanent nerve damage. The dr said the numbness may never go away. I have been experiencing withdrawal symptoms. I am wondering if its because i have been on the same dose of F, OC's and neurontin sin...

so i have a mild form of crohns started with just diarrhea and abdominal discomfort on right side. i started taking pentasa 2 pills 4 times a day for the first few months in january and it was working great bowel movements were normal and pain went away. since may i started having the abdominal discomfort on and off. don't know if i should change my medicine or what ## Have you consulted your doctor? They are really the one person qualified to help you discover if a medication adjustment, or different medication would be necessary. In addition, are you also watching your diet? It is a necessity for someone with Crohn's, because they medications can't possibly keep everything under control if you just eat whatever you like.

I have been on belviq for 6 months, have lost 30 pounds between August 2014 & December 2014. Since then I have lost and gained the same 2-3 pounds. I log food intake with a 1250 cal low carb diet and with cardio & strength training 3-4x a week. I drink plenty of water daily 75-90 oz. there are several women who are in the same holding pattern, why? ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Hitting a plateau point is pretty common in any weight loss regimen. Your body gets used to whatever you've been doing and hits a point where it starts trying to maintain, rather than keep losing. It's just a biological protection mechanism. Many have reported hitting it for awhile, then having improvement again around the one year mark. Some people even worked with their doctors to take a break ...
