Is a norco 365 stronger then a vicodin 357 and why ## Based on my research, Norco M365 is "weaker" than Vicodin M357. It's simply a matter of each pill containing a different dosage of Acetaminophen. Norco M365 contains: Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Vicodin M357 contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). I use to be on generic Lortab. 7.5 and my doctor switch the medicine to Norco 7.5 (V 36 05). I still don't get any relief. I looked it up and its the same med as the Lortab. Something seems shady, is he trying to trick me. ## First of all, your doctor has no control over which tablet your pharmacy has in stock and fills your prescription with. Your doctor can only designate certain things, such as you only get the brand name and/or that you only get tablets or capsules, but not from what company, so you doctor had no way of knowing you'd be getting the one with this marking, when you got your prescription filled. I am scheduled to take 1, 3 times a day. they are orange (light) a V on one side, scored and say on the back; 36 score mark 05. I have taken as many as 4 at one time w/o getting relief, but do feel there is a small amount in them, just to keep from withdrawal. ## In addition, I got this RX from the hospital pharmacy, no independent parties were involved. That said, since there are also generics on the market, I cannot possibly post pictures of all of the available tablets with this dosage, there are many different companies that make it and each must have a unique imprint to enable its identification. Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin. The V stands for Vintage Pharmaceuticals, they were purchased by Qualitest several years ago and there are many pills with the V logo that don't contain narcotics of any type. Additionally, Norco is just a name brand for a certain combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone….while it was originally ones that just contained 325mgs of Acetaminophen, with several doses of the Hydrocodone, since it is available as a generic now, they are pretty much all just us...

Hi & THANK you for your time!! Got a ?? of course, lol.. I had upper my teeth removed 2day--Dentist gave me Norco w/acet 5-325. . The bottle says hydroCODON & Acet, same #'s so I assumed it was a mistake When script was filled I po'd--I thought this was Vicodin 5's (lol ergo the 'narco response'.--Dentisit said it was going to be on a stronger med) or several meds, lortab, norco etc named the same but not??then I looked at the pills--lil whitish w/orange specks, the 'v' on 1 side & 3604 & a score line on other. is this indeed the same as hydrocoDONE? Which is the best pain pill? Mallinckrodt 5-325 (NDC 00406-0365) tablet or Qualitest (NDC 00603-3890)? Have been taking Qualitest 5-325 tablet when needed one tablet by mouth one time a day from targets in dallas nc. Stopped at another targets in Mooresville, NC for same thing I thought. Hey guys, I recently had my script filled at my Walgreens and they switched to Par Pharmecuticals for my Norco 7.5/325 ( which I've been taking for years ) it's now a peach pill with a cursive v on one side and 36/05 on the other. Has anyone taken these before as I have never seen these in the past 7 years under my pain management "care." I have to take them for my Degenerative Disk Disease, slipped fusion, osteoarthritis all the way up my spine, narrowing disc space causing pinched nerves and a new herniated disk.
