Why have they changed the yellow narco to white. The white don't work ,and it takes more than one to get any relief, I have a six inch rod and screws in my neck that's needs to be redone but willing to chance it. There are some people who really need what has been working. ## Are the markings on the tablets the same? If not, then the white one was most likely manufactured by a different company, and this isn't a color change. Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, and is available as a generic, so it is manufactured by several different pharmaceutical companies. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constiaption, and dry mouth. Ref: Norco Information

plese send me a picture of this pill Ineed to varify that I have the right pill. ## I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, which is a narcotic pain reliever. I just recieved a new prescription of norco 853 10/325. The last script was yellow and the new ones are white. The pharmacist said that Watson changed the color but the pill is the same, does anyone know if this is accurate? ## Watson has change a few different medications and the colors are different. But the Norco you're referring to is the same medication that you were prescribed prior. It is just as effective as the script you had filled before this one and it's a good thing that you ask the pharmacist, the pharmacist is correct. ## LuLu is correct and so was your pharmacist. There have been several posts on here recently about various Watson tablets being white now. It seems that some people were sensitive or allergic to the dyes they were using, thus they decided to do awa...

how many tylenol 4 are equal to a 10MG 325 hydrocodone? ## You'd need about 66.67mgs of Codeine to be equivalent to each 10mgs of Hydrocodone, so that would be about a tablet and a half, give or take. However, due to the Acetaminophen that is also in Tylenol 4, you should not take more, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. Taking too much of it in any 24 hour period may cause overdose toxicity, which can be fatal. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes, why is Tylenol 4 a schedule 3 & Hydrocodone 10/200 a schedule 2? Please explain the logic as I'...

Is there such thing as hydrocodone-acetaminophen 40/325mg ## Hello, Briggs! How are you? No, the maximum dosage that is standardly available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The only way someone could have a higher dosage would be if their doctor specially ordered it and it was done by a compounding pharmacy. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just wanted to know which one is stronger and by how much? Thanks, ## Hello, Dale! How are you? Technically, neither. However, for some people that Acetaminophen in Percocet can augment the action of the Oxycodone, so it may be more effective and could be the same as them taking 12 or 13mgs of the Oxycodone. But, it doesn't work that way for everyone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've been on oxycodone 10mg for several years. My pain management doc has been reducing my prescription by 5 pills each month to get me down to just 120 per month. Next month I will be at the 120 mark. I've been complaining as that 1 less per day makes a difference in managing my pain daily. A few months ago my pharmacy switched their supplier and the new pills won't cut. They literally shatter on one side leaving me about 3/4 of a pill & crumbs. So now my doctor is suggesting I go on Percocet 10/325mg. I know the 325 is acetaminophen. But what is the difference between Oxy & Percocet? I'm not a fan of taking that much acetaminophen daily without an end in sight. Is the Percocet 10/325mg is stronger than Oxy 10mg? The same? Unless it's stronger, I don't k...

I heard that they are going to stop making the lorcet 10mg. Is there any truth to this? ## Hello, Lauren! How are you? Not that I'm aware of, I've not seen anything stating such. They did, however, change it to a schedule 2 medication at the beginning of October, so it can no longer have refills. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They did discontinue the ones with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them, due to the risks associated with its overdose, so you can only get dosages with a maximum of 325mgs per. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is the Watson 325 10 mg the same as the UO3 325 10 mg pill? The Watson pill is yellow and the UO3 pill is white. Watson has its name on the pill and UO3 does not. I'm confused. ## Did you mean a marking of ucb? They are just two different manufactures, Watson Pharmaceuticals and UCB Pharma, Inc. This is a generic for Vicodin, Lortab or Norco and once a medication is available as a generic, it's usually manufactured by several different companies, it basically helps to keep prices down by creating market competition. You can learn more Vicodin details here. But from what you've listed in your post, the medication and dosages are the same. Is there anything else I can help with? ## They are not the same..U03, I threw up several times, slept, and it did not help pain!!!

How do I get off dependency from this drug.? I take 2 tablets a day. ## can oxycodone apap trigger CHF is I have codine allergy? ## Paolo, have you tried asking your doctor for help with stopping this medication? They should be able to help you taper off, which can be effective as long as you haven't been abusing it and/or taking extremely high doses. They do have a new effective addiction treatment using Suboxone, an opiate containing the active ingredient Buprenoprhine, which has enabled many people to be completely drug free, but it is only used for those suffering from severe addiction, not for those who have only been taking a medication as prescribed. You can read more about it here: ## Oxycodone/APAP (Acetaminophen) is a generic for Percocet, this is a narcotic pain reliever....

hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pale yellow tablet... I would like to know if this drug could cause itching? ## Yes, Hydrocodone can cause itching. Its called puritis, and is a very common side effect of the medication. ## That is correct, narcotics can cause itching in some people as a side effect, however, there is also another way it could be causing it and that would be if you are allergic to something in it. Have you consulted your doctor? In such cases, it is very important to discuss it with your doctor to determine if it is a side effect, or due to being allergic to something in the tablets. ## Yes, many of us using this drug experience itching. I would like to know the non generic name of oxycontin. I just had a fussion on the L3 through L5 and a compression procedure on both sides of my lower lumbar. The doctor also prescribed Oxycodone /APAP5mg-325mg tablest (2 every 4 hours) I take the Oxycontin twice daily (1 pill) ## Oxycontin is the brand name, it is a time released formulation of the narcotic analgesic Oxycodone. The name brand for the other one you are taking would be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen. is one 15mg morphime IR stronger than two 10mg 325 oxycodone tablets ? ## No, one 15mg Morphine would be almost equivalent to one 10/325 Percocet and the reason I say almost is due to the Acetaminophen in the Percocet making it work better, so it's like having a dose of the Oxycodone that's a few more milligrams. You can learn more Morphine details here and you can learn more Percocet details here. The conversion is actually 1mg of Oxycodone to 1.5mgs of Morphine. I am back on the pain train and want to know why. ## Dude, Roxies are the best form of Oxycodone. Be sure you get the name brand, not generic, if you have insurance. Also, their potency decreases the longer they've been on the shelf. If you are in pain round the clock, get OxyContin or MS Contin. ## It's the same!
