Tramadol 319 50 mg manufactured in what country? ## Hello, John! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and, while they don't list what country it is manufactured in, I can, however, assure you that in order to be available here in the U.S. it must meet the same safety and efficacy standards required by the FDA, as all other prescription medications. My boyfriend was given tramadol and tested positive for opiates. Is this possible and why? Then he was given the medication forcibly by medical staff where he is located. Can this cause for him to act intoxicated and/or high? ## Tramadol will NOT show up as an opiate. If it was an opiate it would be a controlled substance for all states. Vicodin, OxyContin, etc are opiates and narcotics and will show up on a drug test. Tramadol is a synthetic opiate. Basically man made chemicals that affect opioid receptors in the brain. They can test for Tramadol on toxicology/overdose reports but they don't test for it on standard drug tests. Tramadol can get you intoxicated if you take enough. I believe other than pain the reason people use it is as an anti-depressant. Tramadol effects your serot...
