Is this Percocet time released? ## Hello, Nana! How are you? This one with the logo and 230 on it is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. what is the differance of this yellow round 230 10/325 percocet to the football shape 10/325 yellow ## I can't be completely certain, since you didn't provide the markings from both tablets, so I am basing my answer on just your post… That said, from what you've said, the only difference, if they are indeed the same medication in the same dosage, would be that they've both been manufactured by different companies. Learn more Percocet details here. Once a medication such as this is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies and each will have different markings, so it can be identified in case of emergency. I found it in my kid's room and I wanna know what it is and what it looks like plz! ## Is the marking possibly a stylized C with 230 on the other side? It should be a round, yellow pill. If so, it is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

its a round pill with a beige color and weird "V" on one side and the number 230 on the other. ## Based on the description provided, I found the pill to be Acetaminophen + Oxycodone hydrochloride (325 mg - 10 mg). Manufacturer: Alvogen, Inc. The blend tablet is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe acute (short-term) pain. What color are Percocet 10/325mg? Is there a 10/325mg Percocet that's white, round & has 230 on one side & a C on the other? ## A "yellow" round pill with a large C on one side and 230 on the other reportedly contains Acetaminophen (325mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (10mg); the generic for Percocet. For verification, the manufacturer is Alvogen Inc. and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0230. I have yet to see a legitimate white version of this pill, however I do know that colors and shapes are subject to change at the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Yes, it's a oxycodone 10mgs used for pain from a doctor and is only given by a doctor unless you find it on the streets and in that case can be very harmful to yourself. I've been on them after having my son when they had to get him out with a C/section I was taking two so 20mgs at a time and even with being on them a short period of time when I did get off of them I went through VERY painful withdrawal that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy so if your taking them PLEASE PLEASE be smart about it I was under doctor supervision and still got hooked to them. Good luck to anyone needing help getting off them. Suboxone is something that really helps if used for a short period of time like a week or so. ## It is very difficult for the majority to become dependent on Percocet after...

I have c 230 yellow pill but for some reason not all of them line up perfectly with the marked c 230 when flipped over , is this normal for this pharmaceutical company to not line up the marks perfectly when flipped over seems like the 230 can be sideways or upside down? ? ## Hi Nycole, Did you get this pill filled at a licensed pharmacy? If not, a lab analysis would probably be the only safe way to tell if it's legitimate. Counterfeiters can easily purchase pill presses off the internet and compose whatever type of tablet they want, making it look virtually identical to the real thing (but often have minor to moderate deformities such as what you described). When I look at a legitimate image of a 10/325 generic Percocet tablet (made by Alvogen Inc.) that's round, yellow and mar...

Just got these pills from my pharmacy after getting long white ones with the imprint m523 on it which by the way I love. But these new ones from alvogen are absolutely horrible!! I am still in a lot of pain and the feeling I get from them are next to nothing like the m523. I am wondering if the pharmacy will exchange them for me if they have my old ones in stock? Anyone know the answer to this? Thank you in advance. ## I am very sorry that they aren't working for you. However no, your pharmacy can't exchange them, so to speak, because once you leave the building with them, they can't take them back, as tampering is a concern. what's the difference in the different shapes and colors and printed numbers on Percocets? ## Hi Sharon, A round yellow pill marked with "C 230" is reported to be a generic version of Percocet containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. And this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Alvogen. However I think it goes without sayin' that all of the different shapes, colors, and imprints you see on any given pill are simply indicators for identifying various manufacturers, dosages, and of course the substance(s) - including inactive ingredients. My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. If I were you I'd consider contacting the pharmacy who filled your prescription and ask them...

Is yellow round pill 230 c the same as Norco ## Hi Amy, The round yellow pill you're describing marked with a C on one side and 230 on the other, contains 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mg of Acetaminophen. This is NOT the same as Norco. Norco contains Hydrocodone instead of Oxycodone. For added verification on the pill's ID, it's reportedly manufactured by a company called Alvogen; and carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0230. I hope this helps answer your question!

I have two different yellow c 230s side by side and with the 230 straight across lined up side to side and flip perfectly around and the c's don't line up and one has specs of something and looks old and the are not hard hard nor do they snap when broken. ...? ??? ## The pill description you provided is indicative of generic 10/325 Oxycodone HCL + Acetaminophen; made by Alvogen. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-230. I don't know how they feel or what they look like when they're broken, but if you received these from a licensed pharmacy, you can be sure they are real. The NDC link also contains a list of inactive ingredients. I hope this helps!
