Percocet contains the active ingredients Oxycodone, and Acetaminophen, and the maximum dosage of it available contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. I did check the databases and there is nothing listed with this marking, among any medications. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Is anyone else familiar with this tablet?

As to detoxing, if you have experienced seizures before, you should probably look into a safe alternative, such as treatment with Suboxone. It contains Buprenoprhine and Naloxone. It is given when you are in the early withdrawal stages and is slowly tapered, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal effects and help you stay drug free. The max does of Oxycodone in it is 10mgs. That said, a pill marked 20 and G5 contains 20mgs of Pravastatin, a generic for Pravachol, this is used to help lower cholesterol. Does percocet come in 20mg? ## I'm assuming you're referring to the amount of the narcotic in it, the Oxycodone? If so, then NO, it does not. Percocet, which contains the Oxycodone, coupled with Acetaminophen, is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Hi everybody! I've been on "Amneal" oxycodone HCL 20mg tabs (1 three times daily) for about three years, I just pick my prescription up today and it was "Rhodes" brand oxy's! What gives? They jacked price to $999. I only use 2 a day for breakthrough pain but can't take generic. Then I read they were going to discontinue Percocet & their stocks aren't doing well. Maybe if they lowered their prices, more people could afford. I take Oxycontin 20mg every 8 for chronic bladder pain. I try to stay away from more than one Advil a day because I'm anemic & it makes me worse. I haven't increased Oxycontin in 2 years. I also have severe fibromyalgia.

I was prescribed 5/325 mg tablets and told to take 1-2 for pain from kidney stone surgery. I did NOT have it filled because I still had some at home. I took one about 90 minutes ago and realized that they are 10/325. Is it ok to take another one or would that be dangerous. I know nothing about pain meds. ## It would depend on your tolerance and if you're taking any other medications. For someone not used to taking opiates 20mg of Oxycodone is quite a bit. However, it's not enough, in my opinion, to worry about overdose. You'll likely just get very sleepy. If you just took a 10/325 why do you feel the need to take another so soon? I have 3 herniated discs in neck and back and bulging discs. Also arthritis in my whole spine. Also, neuropathy in my feet. I'm almost 70. I have been taking 20mg Percocet 8am and 10 - 15mg at 3-4pm. What should I expect, if I continue as I am? I have recently began with a new PM dr that is fabulous. He basically lets me determine the best combo of pain meds for my back and hip issues that are too numerous to list, however, the severity requires anterior/posterior surgery which I'm trying to avoid at all costs. He originally gave me both ms contin and opana to try to determine which works best for me. The ms contin killed the pain but also killed the brain if u know what I mean. The opana worked good but it only has a bioavailability of roughly 10% which makes me feel as tho I'm wasting my time. I'm also taking percocet 10's for breakthru that honestly seems to blow the opana out of the water as far as effectiveness. Hi..I am currently taking OxyContin 20mg 3xdaily, Percocet, Zanaflex, Neurontin & Trazodone for the chronic pain that I've been suffering for for over 13 years. It's a debilitating illness (RSD/CRPS) and has only gotten worse over time. Now it effects every single part of my body.
