Hydrocodone Capsule questions

This is a grey and yellow capsule with no markings on it. Suppose to be hydrocodone 20 mg. is this true ## If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to determine what it contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, since the 20mg dosage is not a standard one available, it might have been something that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. These products wouldn't have any markings and would be in capsule form. Where was it found/obtained? ...

I can't find anything that says what it is. The prescription is 60/200 mg of hydrocodone compound it is a capsule with no writing one part is clear the other is white! Just want to make sure it is a legit pill?? ## Where did you get it? There is no standard dosage of 60/200 available. The only way anyone would have this dosage would be if it were specially ordered by their doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. If that's the case, it would explain the plain capsules, since that's what they usually use. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

purple capsule no writing I get them from my doctor and know what they are I just want more informaiton about them. I would like to know long term effects. ## Yes, to have 15mgs of the Hydrocodone, this has to be something that is specially compounded, because it is only commercially available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever, it is couple with the Acetaminophen to better relieve pain and swelling. Common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. As to long-term effects, well while rare, they can include: organ damage (liver or kidney), stomach damage and ulcers. half blue half green capsule no marking
3 Replies RSS
It's a capsule that's blue on one half, and green on the other half, and it's supposedly a 15 mg hydrocodone pill. But there's no markings on it at all. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to discover exactly what this contains. If it does contain 15mgs of Hydrocodone, then it has to have been something specially ordered by a doctor and compounded by a specialty pharmacy, since it is not an amount that is normally available. Where/How was it obtained? ## Are the hydrocodone 15/200 mg capsules stronger than the narco hydrocodone 10/325 ## From the dr. And they are blue and white made from a compounding shop Inc. TussiCap is a brand new medication in capsule form. It has 10 mg of Hydrocodone and 8 mg of a drug I'm not familiar with. The drug without inurance in $600.00!!!!! I got it for 25 bucks ## Wow! I'm very glad that the coupon saved you so much money, that's a crazy price. The other ingredient is the antihistamine Chlorpheniramine. The FDA lists the possible side effects to this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything I can help with? ## I have insurance and my doctor wrote me a prescription for Tussi caps. I also gave the pharmacist a discount card so my co-pay would be $25. When I went to pick it up she told me it would be $2000 for 20 pills. So therefore I c... ...
