The descriptions are similar. Neither is subject to controlled substance act. I have taken Omeprazole for years from various manufacturers and never had a problem. My pharmacy just switched to Kremers Urban KU 136 this week, and they don't do anything. When I am not on medication for GERD, I wake up every night gagging on vomit. In the past when I am taking Omeprazole daily, I wake up maybe one night a month usually because I ate something too close to bed time. I use a pillow wedge to sleep upright and am fine. When I took the Kremers Urban KU 136, I was up every night gagging on vomit and the pillow wedge didn't help. I bought Nexium over the counter and am now back to not having any issues. The oval white pill imprinted with U 136 as well as the round peach pill imprinted R 128 are both 0.2 mg clonidine! I am a recovering addict who's suffered from the disease of addiction. I was for years chasing my next high. My doctor gave me these to help with withdrawal and sleeping. They do not make you feel high as they're non narcotic! They do however put you to sleep.
