The only difference is that it is manufactured by a different company, that is normal with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have a blue round pill that has an R on the top and 215 on the bottom. I cannot remember if it is my Oxycontin or the generic for it. Can you please let me know if it is my Oxycontin? ## Yes it is the same thing... it is oxicodone. Blue round with R and 215 is oxicodone 30mg. ## Is there any way that the R on the pill could actually be an A ?
