pain relief ## Sorry, it would be impossible to post pictures of all the Hydrocodone pills on the market. What they look like is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer, so each one made by a different company will look different and even within a company how they appear will vary according to the dosage. If you have a pill that you suspect is Hydrocodone, I can look it up for to be certain of what it is, if you post back with a description of the pill and include any and all imprints on the tablet. ## I have a pill with the imprints RC GGP on it and it aint showing anything in any pill identifier ## m-357 is some kind of lortab but im not sure if its a 5, 7.5, or 10 mg tablet someone please let me know which one it is!! ## white oblong pill RC GGP ## Small white oblong pil... ...

Im having an awful time with migraines. No triptans work so I'm on narcotics for chronic pain. Currently taking hydrocodone 10/325 twice a day but its not helping much anymore. Pain mgnmt dr prescribed Butrans 5mg patch. Its not covered by my insurance so I wanted to know if its better for pain than the current hydro I'm on before spending $170 on a mths supply. Any info is appreciated. Tired of this chronic pain! ## ask your Dr if he can appeal the insurance Co's decision. He might be able to get them to OK it. I take Butrans 15 for severe neck pain. I love the fact the one patch lasts a week and there is no ups and down in the pain relief. ## Hello, Sharon! Sorry about the migraines. The only way to know if it will help you is by actually trying it. What you might want to ... ...

Am on 10-325 mg I go to pain management I can't find my bottle of meds am in pain. 8 days before appt will they see I haven't had my meds ## Hi Vicky, Sorry to hear about your situation. Personally, I think you should be upfront with your doctor about what happened, having misplaced the bottle. The main reason I say this is because I think they do have the ability to tell what levels of medication should be in your system vs how much isn't there. Given the circumstances and type of narcotic, it's easy for them draw false conclusions that you're selling them, but I feel that sincere honesty goes a long way when you are earnest and straight forward with your words. I have my fingers crossed for you and pray that everything works out to your benefit! Be well! ## They ca... ...

hydrocodone hair results

I have been prescribed Norco 7.5-10 mg prn for 4 yrs. I sometimes take none for 2 weeks but then have a lot of pain and take about 4-6 per week as needed. I had to have a hair follicle test. It says cut off is 200 pg/mg and my quantitative result was 2309 pg/mg. What does that mean? ## Hi ntrubl, In regards to your hair follicle test results, I get the sense that the cut off level of 200 pg/mg is simply referring to the "lowest detectable amount" which can be picked up by the test. Since your results were 2309 pg/mg, this isn't necessarily saying that you had a LOT in your system, but it does imply that you had much more than the minimum amount that could be detected. Does this make sense? I would also encourage you to contact the lab who performed the evaluation if you'... ...

My dad takes for chronic pain. Found unmarked containers in his meds want to make sure they are hydrocodone 5 MG before he takes. One is white oval tablet with 105 on it other is circular tablet with .DAN on one side and 5658 ## Hello, Deb! How is your dad? The tablet with the 105 marking is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. is oxycodone 10 mg stronger than 10mg hydrocodone

I have been on Norco 10/325 for 7 years for chronic pain and disc problems. Needless to say they quit working. Dr just switched me to Percocet 10. Is this stronger and will it help my pain? ## Hi Bridget, Sorry to hear about your situation. To answer your question though, YES, the 10mgs of Oxycodone contained in Perocet 10/325 is reported to be more potent than 10mgs of Hydrocodone in Norco 10/325. As to how much stronger it is, answers do vary... but from what I've researched, it's analgesic effects appear to be about 1.5-3x stronger. Does anyone else find this to be true as well? ## Thank you very much for answering my question. I hope it helps my pain. Hydrocodone apap 10/325 is what I take for Headaches on a daily basis.... can not get a refill until tomorrow morning... I did find a jar of some pain reliever called APAP/Codeine 300-30 mg. would there be an interaction if taken today. Last pill I took of Hydro was at 10:30 this morning..12/28/13. Can any one help me with this... I'm a bit nervous in taking another pain pill ## Hello, Mari! How are you? What did you end up doing? The main concern would really be the fact that the Codeine is so much weaker, it likely wouldn't handle your pain very well and with the added Acetaminophen, taking additional pills wouldn't be safe. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth... ...

How many mgs is M363 hydrocodone. I have some from long time of ago and I dont remember what the mgs are. ## At this time, the tablet with the M 363 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, Norco or Lortab. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Vicodin details here. And to add an additional note for anyone that may be viewing this post at a later date… The FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of the prescription combination medications that combine it with a narcotic be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs. hydrocodone in gabapentin
1 Reply RSS
Can I take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10/325 tab and Gabapentin 300 mg for body aches froom cold flu? ## Hello, Carol! How are you? Gabapentin likely won't help much, it is not an actual analgesic. It's classified by the FDA as an anticonvulsant that can help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders, but it takes 4 to 5 weeks to teach its full level of efficacy in the body. The Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen is an analgesic that may help, if your doctor approves of your taking it. It is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. 1- 30mg morphine, vs. Hydrocodone 10-325 × 5 per day, advise
1 Reply RSS
I've been taking 10/325 hydrocodones × 5 per day for a couple of years for pain then the laws changed and, my Dr. prescribed me 1, 30 mg. Kadian cr per day for pain, the hydrocodone kinda helped for pain but i never was fully pain free. Just wanted ask how the new prescription would be better or should I ask for something else. I suffer from osteoarthritis, degenerate bone disease in just about all my joints. Any help with questions would be appreciated greatly. ## Hello, Wohali! How are you? To be equivalent to the amount of Hydrocodone that you were taking, you'd need 50mgs of Morphine. These opiates convert on a 1 to 1 ratio. Thus, the 30mg dosage may not be enough to get your pain under control, but the only way to find out is by trying it. The FDA classifies this medic... ...

I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. I was taking hydrocodon 10-325 and now my dr switched me to Percocet 10-325 and when I take it it puts me to sleep for hours and keeps me drowsy all day is this what it is suppose to do when my other hydrocodone didn't do this to me I was able to stay active and alert and do my daily duties. ## Hello, Ricky! How are you? The Oxycodone in the Percocet is actually stronger than the Hydrocodone, so what you're taking now is more potent, which is likely why it's making you drowsy. How long have you been taking it? It should improve after about 4 weeks or so, once your body adjusts to the medication. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

Hydrocodone 10/325 vs. Hydrocodone 10/650

I have suffered from cronic migraines for years. For breakthrough pain relief my neurologist has prescribed Hydrocodone 10/650. When I needed it, it worked well unless the migraine had developed to a complex migraine, then a trip to the ER was needed, and IV hydromorphon and phenergan seemed to do the trick. Now thanks to the new federal law, No more than 325 mg of acteomediphine can be in medications. Now my medication doesn't seem to be working as it once did! What can I do now, other than taking two pills, which I don't want to do at all! Help!! ## Hi Krisy, Sorry to hear about your situation.
